The 2012 Audi F12e Performance Prototype sold for an amazing two million dollars. What made this high performance luxury car so special is that it has all of the beauty of an R8 with the fuel efficiency of an electric. This car is completely powered by electric. It was a research car that generated 204 horsepower with an incredible 405 lb ft of torque.

9. 2013 Audi Sport Quattro Concept - $2,000,000

The ninth most expensive Audi ever sold was the 2013 Audi Sport Quattro Concept. It sold for a whopping $2 million. It is tied with the 2012 Audi F12e Performance prototype. This car made its debut appearance at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2013 featuring a plug n hybrid V8 of the twin turbo variety.

The 2014 Audi TT offroad Concept joins the two million club for the most expensive Audis ever sold. This vehicle made its first appearance to the world at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. This concept was the first in a line that continued with a redesign in 2016, making it one of the best family SUVs made by the brand.

7. 2013 Audi Nanuk Quattro Concept - $2,000,000

The fourth Audi to tie for a high selling price of $2 million is the 2013 Audi Nanuk Quattro Concept. This vehicle is a crossover concept which made its debut at the Frankfurt am Main IAA. It's a high performing sports edition with a V10 TDE engine. This baby is as much at home on the streets as it is on the track.

The sixth most expensive Audi in the world is the 2010 Audi e-Tron Syder Concept, topping the Nanuk Quattro Concept by $700K. This is an electric car that made its first appearance to the world at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Two electric motors power this sporty car and the 479 lb ft of torque gives it more than decent acceleration.

Coming in at number 4, the 2009 Audi e-tron Concept. The elder sibling of the 2010 brought in a hefty $3 million. It beat its little brother by $300,000 in value to the highest bidder. This one boasted a max speed of 200 kph with a power generation of 610 bph.

The Rosemeyer Concept which debuted in 2000 definitely had a one of a kind look. It was an Audi the likes of which the world had never seen before. What really put this edition over the top n value was the high performance and the incredible detail work that went into ever inch of the car which featured carbon fiber, the highest possible leather material and brushed aluminum. We thought that the adjustable racing pedals were also a nice touch.

This was one of the leanest and sportiest Audi's made and it fetched a handsome price tag of a cool $3 million, tying it with the Rosemeyer Concept for 2000. It's worth a small fortune, however, it's not the most expensive Audi that has ever sold, but it comes in second.
