How Much Does It Cost to Attend a Dallas Mavericks Game?

When planning an outing, it is important that interested individuals have a good idea of what they can expect to pay. This is as true for going to basketball games as it is for anything else. As such, people who want to watch the Dallas Mavericks play at American Airlines Center might want to start looking up the prices for various costs sooner rather than later. The sooner that they become informed, the sooner that they can start up their planning process. Something that should maximize their chances of getting exactly what they want instead of forcing them to settle in one way or another.

What Is the Average Cost of Dallas Mavericks Tickets?

Chances are good that most interested individuals will want to start by checking out the average cost of Dallas Maverick tickets. This won't provide them with a lot of information about the specific seats for the specific games that they are interested in, but it should nonetheless provide them with a very rough idea of what they can expect. Something that can be pretty useful for setting their expectations at least.

Regardless, the average cost of Dallas Mavericks tickets on the secondary market was $65 in the 2014-2015 season. Later, it saw an increase to $74 in the 2015-2016 season, which was followed up by a notable decrease to $58 in the 2016-2017 season. Unfortunately, these averages say very little about the specific prices of specific seats for specific games. For proof, look no further than one game versus the Golden State Warriors, which saw an average price of $239 on the secondary market, which was based on a range that went from a low of $140 for the upper levels to a high of $1,229 for the floor seats. Suffice to say that the game's ticket prices were close to triple the average price of $86 in that particular season, which says a lot about just how much variation there can be.

Due to this, interested individuals need to look up exact information instead of just counting on generic details. Fortunately, there is a simple and straightforward solution to this particular problem, which consists of said individuals going to a ticket website to look up the prices of the tickets that they are interested in. In total, this process shouldn't take them more than a modicum of effort. In exchange, they can find out exactly what they want to know as well as exactly what they need to know for their planning efforts.

What Is the Average Cost of Dallas Mavericks Concessions?

Naturally, an outing to the American Airlines Center wouldn't be complete without food and beverages to round out the experience. Unsurprisingly, the venue doesn't allow outside food and beverages to be brought in, meaning that interested individuals will have to settle for buying the options that are available to them through concessions. Luckily, the Dallas Mavericks's prices aren't particularly bad, provided that one compares them to other teams in the NBA anyways.

In short, NerdWallet posted a list of prices for the NBA teams that should provide some helpful information to interested individuals. On the whole, the Dallas Mavericks were one of the more affordable teams in this regard. Certainly, their prices weren't the lowest, but they were very far from being the highest. For instance, their beer was $5.33, which wasn't as good as the $4.67 of the Detroit Pistons but was still much, much lower than, say, the $12 of the Los Angeles Lakers for the same 12 ounces. Similarly, a Dallas Mavericks hot dog was priced at $4, which was much better than having to pay $6 for something very similar from either the Miami Heat or the Portland Trail Blazers. Of course, there are other options available to interested individuals through Dallas Mavericks concessions, which will have other prices.

What Is the Average Cost of Dallas Mavericks Parking?

The same source claims that Dallas Mavericks parking comes to $20. However, there are other options in the vicinity, with some charging as little as $5. Due to this, interested individuals will want to see if they want to park somewhere besides American Airlines Center's official parking spaces even if that means a relatively short walk to their eventual destination. Considering the difference in price, spending between 8 and 12 minutes on their feet could very well prove to be worth it.
