This is a beach-front health resort in Hua Hin that is set in tropical gardens. Chiva-Som is an award-winning resort that is popular amongst celebrities. They offer a range of personalized retreats that are tailored to your personal health and wellbeing needs. For example, there are packages for weight loss, those in remission from cancer, and detoxification. The packages also include three meals a day, daily spa treatments, and use of the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Some of the treatments available include fascia release therapy, crystal massage, dry skin brushing, gyrokinesis, quantum massage, and stress release therapy.

3. Orion Healing Center

The Orion Healing Center is the ideal choice for those who want to enjoy a retreat but only have a limited budget as this is much cheaper than many of the other wellness spas in Thailand. It also offers a fantastic range of packages to suit different needs that range from a five-day retreat to a 28-day immersion experience. Those who stay at this wellness center can try things like chakra balancing, craniosacral therapy, crystal healing, and reiki. If you opt for the detox package, you can enjoy detox drinks, yoga, fresh coconuts, Thai massage, and self-administered colonic irrigation.

4. The Pavana Chiang Mai Resort

At this wellness spa, the focus is on balancing the mind and body through eating properly, cleansing, mind purification, breathing and exercising. They run meditation and yoga packages and are particularly well-known for their raw foods, juicing, and gentle fasting packages. Radiance is the on-site restaurant, and this serves a range of healthy meals that are all made with fresh fruits and vegetables from their own organic garden. They also offer gourmet raw cooking classes at this restaurant. The spa is set in tropical grounds in the Ann Mae Valley and this is the perfect setting for running, cycling, and hiking.

5. Kamalaya

Located on the southeastern side of Koh Samui, this is a luxurious holistic spa and wellness sanctuary that is designed to bring people in harmony with the surrounding landscape. It was once used as a place of meditation for the Buddhist monks and has been transformed into a space that uses tropical plants, trees, granite boulders, and streams. Packages are available for five or seven-night retreats called ‘Embracing Change’ and the focus is on changing your lifestyle habits and exploring your current situation. The package includes airport transfer, full room and board, a bio-independence analysis, and a consultation. During your stay, you will have a 90-minute’Embracing Change session each day along with many other therapies, including Thai massage, foot massage, and holistic fitness activities. Guests at this retreat also have access to a pool, a fitness center, and a steam cavern.
