Not a deal breaker per se but a part of the package with regard to the design.

The navigation system is highly functional but there is a learning curve associated with its use. In order to get it to function you’ll need to make a second confirmation of the address that you type in or it won’t respond. While some may find this to be a safety feature for avoiding programming an address in accidentally, it could also be viewed as an inconvenience. The matter could go either way, depending on our preferences for speed verses caution.


The new 2017 Jaguar XE 20d AWD Diesel base price will be around $49,995. Additional options are available which could easily influence the total cost and spiral it upwards. here are the options which are available. The standard model does not come with these additions. Purchaser may have the option of choosing one or all of the additional features as follows.

Driver assistance package

This includes a safety package including a surround camera system for full view of the proximity that the car is in. Park assist an help you to get more challenging spots with greater ease. Also included in the driver assistance package are adaptive speed limiter; traffic sign recognition; adaptive cruise control that also features a 360 degree parking aid and queue assist for an additional $3200.

Technology package For an additional $2,700, you could also add an SSD based Navigation system featuring a 10.2 inch InControl Touch Pro; Meridian digital surround system for entertainment and sound and a navigation system that is connected via WiFi hotspot system.

Comfort and Convenience

This is another optional package for enhancing luxury aspects of the car. It includes front seats (climate) along with heated back seats, an electric sun blind for the rear window and a powered trunk lid for $2100. For an additional $550 you can get that in glacier white. There are also options for a black design package for $350 more and for a heated front windshield and washer jets.
