10 Things You Didn’t Know About the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace

There’s a new Jaguar coming out in 2019 and in case you haven’t heard yet, it’s the new F-Pace. if this is that you’ve always wanted to own you’ll soon have your chance. Before you make up your mind, here are 10 things you didn’t know about the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace.

1. It’s going to come with Adaptive Surface Response technology

If you were happy with the 2018 edition then you’re going to really sing about the 2019 model. It’s going to arrive with a whole slew of updates. We’re told that it’s going to be fully equipped with Adaptive Surface responses so you can change a bunch of the settings to give you better traction When you need it. The technology is amazing because this allows you to make changes that will improve this area of the car’s performance on any type of surface and in any road conditions.

2. The 2019 Jaguar F-Pace will have Low Friction Launch

This is a new term for many people who are not engineers or design technicians in the automotive business, but it’s something that is worth learning about. Low friction launch is the technology that controls the throttle response to slow id so acceleration is at the ideal level when the road conditions are slippery out. When it’s explained in detail, it makes good sense.

3. The new Jaguar F-Pace will have All Surface Progress Control

As with many of the other new upgrades, this technology sounds very complicated but what it does is really cool. ASPC simply operates as a cruise control for off-road and low-speed conditions. It kicks in when you’re moving at 18.6 miles per hour or slower but you have to go above 2.2 mph in order for it to work. It’s an amazing technology that could come in handy for maintaining a slow and consistent speed, especially if you’re traversing through the mud.

4. It also comes with Lane Keep Assist

Lane Keep Assist is nothing really new, but it’s good that the new F-Pace is throwing it in as a standard feature. Lane Keep Assist monitors the positioning of the vehicle as it moves down the road. It uses a stereo camera along with the electric power steering system to guide the car back into the best position if it starts to wander outside of the lane.

5. Traffic Sign Recognition is also included

Traffic Sign Recognition is also known as TSR. It’s another standard safety feature that the 2019 F-Pace will come equipped with. This is an upgraded system that has the capability to read more signs than the previous version and it’s an excellent tool for keeping the driver informed of any changes in speed limits or if there are construction notices up.

6. It also features Adaptive Cruise Control

Also known as ACC, the new F-Pace will have the ability to stop in congested traffic and when the driver wants to resume the original speed all that is needed is a simple tap on the throttle.

7. The engine is going to scream

The new Jaguar F-Pace is coming out with a super powerful V-8 engine that packs a whopping 550 horsepower. It’s a supercharged 5.0-liter engine that can haul the entire family without even breathing hard. The latest crossover was revealed at the New York Auto Show and it’s set to be available in 2019 at your local Jaguar dealer.

8. The interior is magnificent

The cabin of the new jag has also received an update or two. It will feature a 10-inch touchscreen, illuminated door sill plates, a frameless rearview mirror, a suede cloth headliner, and optional carbon fiber trim goodies. One of the greatest things about all of this is that these are going to be standard features from this point forward.

9. You have a few powertrain options

The new F-Pace is available in a turbocharged 2.0 liter inline four engine with a horsepower rating of either 247 or 296. Both choices come with the eight-speed auto transmission. There’s another option available too. It’s a supercharged V6 3.0-liter that cranks 380 horsepower.

10. The new Jaguar is going to be incredible

With all the new standard features and upgrades that are coming along with the new Jaguar F-Pace for 2019, it’s one that will give you an upgrade in luxury and driving safety. If you haven’t considered checking it out yet, perhaps we’ve given you ten new reasons to reconsider.
