Now the lightest bike in its class, including the wheels, what you get is a tough, fast street bike with an unbeatable power to weight ratio. In fact, the 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS is the most agile, powerful and fastest street bike that the folks at Triumph have ever manufactured for the public. So, whether you’re looking for a bike that blends both speed and dexterity for the occasional track experience, or simply something cutting edge and sporty for the road, we’re sure you’ll agree that the 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, has what it takes to give you the best cycling experience of your life.

1. Triumph’s Team at Hinckley “Triumphed” over the 2020 European Emissions Regulations

When it came to meeting the new emissions standards for 2020, the team at Hinckley just didn’t switch a few things around, they actually did a complete revamp of the engine.  Everything from readjusting airflow, tightening the internals, new exhaust cam, reducing engine weight, doing it all while maintaining the power it’s been known for. In fact, the revamped engine not only met the emissions standards, but also gained up to 9 percent more torque at 121 horse power and 79nm of torque. Now that’s innovation.

2. Bi-Directional Quickshifter is Now Standard

For a more smooth and comfortable ride, Triumph’s design team decided to make the bi-directional quickshifter standard on the 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. The bi-directional quickshifter feature allows riders to make smooth and seamless gear shifts in both upshifting and downshifting. Bi-directional quickshifting gives the rider the acceleration they crave by decreasing the time required between gearshifts. As a result, the power delivered is even and balanced.

3. The Big Difference Between the 2019 and 2020 Model? The 765 cc Engine

If you’re looking for one good reason for purchasing the 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, then look no further than its engine design. Not only has it been reworked with great success to deal with the Euro 5 Emissions Standards of 2020, but it also gives a sweet and powerful ride. Designed with the help of those who developed the powerful, Moto2 engine, the result was an engine that had all the punch of a racing engine, but also smooth and street friendly for the average rider. The result is a pleasant and responsive ride in the mid-range, which is just what most riders want.

4. Brembo Master Cylinders Equal Unmatched Control When Braking

2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2

For the best in braking, the 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS incorporates Brembo Master Cylinders in its design. Educated riders know the contribution Brembo makes to their overall biking experience, as the Brembo m50 , 4 piston, radial monoblock front calipers offers them both an improved response and high quality control when braking. They keep it tight, so the braking you get is directly related to the amount of pressure you apply to the adjustable Brembo ration and span break lever. Smooth and deliberate rear stopping power is provided by a Brembo sliding rear caliper.

5. Fully Adjustable Showa Front Suspension and Ohlins STX 40 Rear

This Triumph comes with a Showa suspension system for the front. Their inverted, beefy 41mm forks provide the rider with compression damping, adjustable rebound and preloading. The rear suspension is supplied by Ohlin’s adjustable STX 40 piggyback reservoir monoshocks, which ensure that the rear wheel of your Triumph 765 RS keeps in constant contact with the pavement.

6. The 2020 Triumph 765 RS Dropped the IMU

If you’re wondering where the IMU went, well Triumphs development team decided to leave it off the spec list. This decision was based on customer feedback.  IMU means Motorcycle Inertial Measurement Unit, and provides the rider with lean sensitive traction control. However, when it came down to what the consumer preferred, IMU was not high on the list. After conducting research, Triumph found that their riders preferred spending cash on the addition of the bi-directional quickshifter and top-of-the-line adjustable suspension systems instead of the IMU, and Triumph obliged.

7. A Meaner and More Sporty Exterior

If you take a good look at the front of the 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, one of the first things you’ll notice is the addition of a new headlight design. These newly designed, twin LED headlight give the Triumph a street mean appearance, almost challenging the pavement ahead to a street brawl. Due to the new design, these LED headlights are much brighter than past models, so will provide you with a good, wide view of the road at night. As for the overall appearance, you’ll find the look more angular reinforcing it’s cutting edge engine and design. Finally, you get two new color schemes for this mode, matte jet black and silver ice.

8. The 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Rider Modes Get New Maps

Those familiar with how the Triumphs ride, will immediately notice the difference in the ride they get once they hop on and take it for a first time spin. Part of that is due to a combination of two things: The new set of maps for each of the 5 riding modes, and addition of Showa and Ohlin’s STX40 shock absorbers. Indeed, according to Triumph’s Chief Engineer, Stuart Wood, the 2020 Triumph 765 RS has been crafted to give the rider a softer ride, right out of the box . The result is a smooth, clean and comfortable ride.

9. Triumph 765 RS is a Combo of the R and RS Models

A few years back, the Triumph R and RS models both had their perks, and were designed for their own demographic. First, you had the speed driven RS. This was the model you took to the track, or out on the road for some fast street action. The R on the other hand, was made more for the rider looking for a swift day to day bike for commuting and weekend rides. However, Triumph soon learned that most consumers wanted both in one package. Always quick to look into customer opinion, they gave them what they wanted, so the 2020 Triumph 765 RS was born.

The 2020 Triumph 765 RS now has an updated TFT system, as the My Triumph Connectivity software is now standard, as is Triumphs first “turn-by-turn” navigation system was designed in association with Google, to give you performance you can trust. As a result you get GoPro synergy along with accurate, on the road navigation. The switch cube provides ease of music and phone operation, all of which is easily visible on the angle adjustable, 5 inch TFT Display screen. The turn-by-turn navigation system is supported by a My Triumph app.
