A Closer Look at Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat

There is a lot to love about boats. There is just something about being able to get out on the open water with your family members or friends and enjoy a day of relaxation. There are boats for just about every type of occasion. You might find full houseboats that will make it comfortable to stay out on the lake for a week or more, down to simple fishing boats. Then, there is the Sunseeker. Billed as a day boat, nothing has been left to chance. You will find a lot to be happy about this new release. Let us now take a closer look at Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat.

The Details

You will find a lot to be happy about with Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat. To begin, it cruises through the open water at an impressive 70 miles per hour. This gives it a return to the racing design that Sunseeker has long been famous for. This is a day board that is high performance. The company brought in Fabio Buzzi Design to collaborate on this project. The cruising speed of 62 knots is just the beginning.

This boat also comes with two Mercury R400 outboard engines. These are designed to also include Mercury Racing Digital Zero Effort throttles. That is quite impressive in its own right, but you will find that Fabio Buzzi also built the hull to be able to get the boat up to maximum speed while keeping it quiet all at the same time. You will find minimal noise disruption when operating Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat. To stabilize the boat while out at sea, particularly when the water gets more than a bit choppy, Sunkseeker has incorporated some structural foam in addition to Hypalon 866 STAB tubes. This will keep the boat gliding over the water as it should.

The Purpose

Obviously, you are not going to treat Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat as your party boat. Its sleek design is best suited for a chase or tender boat. Alternatively, it works great as a solo day boat. You can just take it out and enjoy opening it up on the water and feel the wind course through your body. The high speed that this boat can travel makes it ideal for getting off the short and to your destination quickly. You can also choose from the available options on the boat to suit yourself for a day out on the water. This is a boat that is multi-functional, which broadens the appeal to the modern-day boater.

When you do find a spot out in the water to just stop and enjoy, there is a sunbathing pad that can come in quite handy. You can also include the canopy that is included as an option if you want to eliminate the sun from the equation for a few hours. The choice is always up to you. The is aft-facing seating in a U-shape on Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat. You will find that the seats are all placed around a table that is of the quick-release variety. This means that you can have a few guests on board and be able to comfortably entertain them while out at sea. When you are ready to put the table away, it stows quickly and easily.

If you are worried about wind protection when traveling at such a high speed, you needn’t be. Sunseeker’s Hawk 38 Sport Boat has a carbon fiber screen made of double-curvature and ventilated glass. This is located aft of your seating area. You will also have no trouble navigating with this boat, as it comes equipped with a Simrad navigation system. This has one of the most advanced GPS systems available in this class of boat available today. The Hawk 38 also comes with Wi-Fi capability, allowing other technological gadgets that you have to be linked together quite easily.

Even though the boat is designed for speed, there is still a full toilet built into its design. You will find that in a compartment underneath the helm of the boat. There is also a refrigerator and plenty of storage compartments located throughout. Add that to the great sound system that is included and you have all of the makings for many wonderful days out on the water.
