A Closer Look at the 2020 Kia Telluride

The power source
The new 2020 Kia Telluride, we’re told is going to come equipped with a 3.8 liter V-6 engine that will offer plenty of power yet take it easy on the fuel consumption. It will come with standard front wheel drive and an optional all-wheel drive if this is your preference and this rule applies for all of the new 2020 Telluride models for 2019. For the LX you can expect it to feature eight passenger seats and a second row bench, 18 inch wheels, an 8.0 inch touch screen and it will have the capability for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with six USB ports, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. These are a part of the LX base package that starts at $32,735
The 2020 Kia Telluride S model
the base price of the new Telluride S model starts at $35,035 and will be notably equipped with some upgrades over the LX model for just a few grand more. The upgrades include 20 inch wheels, a 10 way power driver’s seat to add a touch of luxury, heated front seats, a power room and seven passenger seating with second row captain’s chairs. This sounds like a really sweet deal if you’re interested in swapping just one passenger seat space for the comfort and luxuriousness of the captain’s chairs.
The 2020 Kia Telluride EX model
Next we look at the Telluride EX version that will be available for just $38,135 base pricing and some considerable upgrades over its siblings. The new luxury SUV will come standard with a 10.3 inch touchscreen, eight way power passenger seat, cooled front seats, leather upholstery, eight passenger seating and a second row bench and a power lift gate for easy access into the cargo area.
2020 Kia Telluride SX model
Finally, we come to the top of the line in the new 2020 Kia Telluride. The SX model will come at a base retail price of $42,535. If you’re looking for the top of the model line then this is the vehicle that will fit the bill. It will come standard with 20 inch black wheels, LED headlights, Dual sunroofs, 360 degree camera view, digital gauge cluster, Harman/Kardon audio system and seven passenger seating with second row captain’s chairs.
The Optional SX Prestige package
You still have a little time to think about which option will best suit your needs and preferences and while you’re thinking about it, consider the SX Prestige package if you really want to go all the way. The cost of the SX Prestige package is just $4,000 more and with it you get top of the line Nappa leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, second row heated and cooled seats, head up display and all wheel drive.
When is it going to be available?
If you’re interested in checking out the new 2020 Tellurides then you won’t have long to wait. The official debut of the vehicle happened at the 2019 Detroit auto show and the auto maker didn’t leave a lot of time in between its official announcement until it will be available for sale to the public.
