A Closer Look at the Ambassador Watches Heritage 1921

Ambassador watch makers have created a new timepiece for their collection that brings timeless elegance and luxury at an affordable price. Their new Amabassador Watches Heritage 1921 is a wristwatch that delivers a sophisticated air in a classic yet simple design that we believe will thrill the masses. This elegant watch is deserving of a closer look.

The case

We begin our inspection of the Heritage 1921 at its case. Crafted of stainless steel material in a polished finish, the large round case measures 40 mm in diameter and is 9 mm in its thickness. This iteration of a vintage timepiece artistically melds the past ages of the 1920s with the modernity of the present age. The thin polished stainless steel bezel gives the face a wide eyed appearance which lends to its simplicity and charm. There is nothing overworked about the case or the dial. The Ambassador design speaks for itself. The crown is also highly polished steel and sticks out from the case for ease in setting the time. The lugs are long and highly polished, enhancing the size of the dial yet further.

The dial

The dial is a reflection of the silver era of the 1920s which maintains a constant tempo for the theme of the watch. Its classy characteristics are portrayed in the waffle patterned light grey background is a magnificent Clous de Paris texturing, with a circular white inset to add slight variance that makes the applied silver minute and hour indications stand out with high legibility. The Ambassador name and name of the model 1921 are placed directly below the 12 o’clock position with the window for the date positioned at 3 o’ clock. The minute and hour hands are chiseled and tapered in polished stainless steel with a needle style seconds hand that lends a wonderfully sophisticated aesthetic to the watch. A clear sapphire crystal glass caps the top of the watch with crystal clarity of the dial below. The crystal is scratch resistant to add to the ruggedness and durability of the timepiece, adding to its overall value and usefulness. Two characteristics highly valued.

The movement

The movement which is used to power the Ambassador Watches Heritage 1921 is an original Japanese Quartz Miyota caliber. Ambassador saw fit to use this reasonably accurate powerhouse to keep the costs down so they could offer this spectacular men’s watch at a lower cost to the consumer. The intention behind the Heritage 1921 is to offer a touch of luxury and class in an aesthetically pleasing dress watch for men a a price that is within the reach of most.

The strap

The strap measures 20 mm in width and it is made of genuine leather material in brown. It fastens the timepiece to the wrist via a pin buckle closure that is highly polished stainless steel. It matches the color of the case perfectly. When you flip the Heritage 1921 over, you’ll find a very pleasant surprise. A large engraving of the logo with the indication Ambassador 1921 Collection on the case back. It’s an attractive addition to what would otherwise be a plain case back.

Price and availability

The Ambassador Watches Heritage 1921 Watch is offered at a low cost of just $226.46. It is water resistant up to 30 meters if you’re so inclined to participate in water sports. The watch is sold with a learning watch box, a 10 year guarantee of satisfaction and 60 days for a free return. It’s doubtful that there will be many returns and the generous warranty program offered for this piece suggests the manufacturer’s confidence in its solid construction as well as its ability to please.

There are no ultra expensive luxury materials used in the making of this watch, but it glows with the appearance of quality. A watch does not need to be crafted of platinum or white gold to be of high value. This example exists as proof of that. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the design elements are superb. There is nothing mediocre about the Ambassador Heritage 1921. It gives an appropriate nod to the past while carrying the brand forth into the future. We believe that this watch is destined to become a classic.
