Jim Continenza
An innovator in the advertising technology (ad tech) industry, Jim Continenza is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vivial. Mr. Continenza is responsible for the strategic vision of Vivial, and is deeply committed to his customers’ experience by making the complex simple and offering a straightforward suite of integrated solutions. To do so, he is breaking new ground and advancing the ad tech industry by eliminating waste, inefficiency and complexity to streamline the way businesses of all sizes engage with their customers. He continually strives to innovate by developing and acquiring new technologies that provide companies with a seamless experience, accessible on a SaaS-based platform, to help them reach customers quickly and easily, and increase ROI with actionable consumer insights.
From a career that began more than 30 years ago as a sales representative, Mr. Continenza has worked his way through the ranks of numerous technology and telecommunications companies. As a decisive and driven senior executive, Mr. Continenza’s foresight, strategic focus and proven ability to lead and transform has resulted in substantial returns for the companies with which he’s been involved.
Mr. Continenza is the former President of STi Prepaid, LLC and the former Interim Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Glass Container Corp., Inc. In both positions, he developed a new strategic focus for each company’s core competencies to achieve market and cost synergies.
Mr. Continenza has served in senior leadership roles at a number of other companies, including Teligent, Inc., Rural Cellular Corp. (sold to Verizon), Maxim Crane Works (sold to Platinum Equity Partners II, L.P.), USA Mobility Inc., Microcell Telecommunications Inc. (sold to Rogers Wireless, Inc.), and Arch Wireless Inc.
Mr. Continenza is a proven leader in the trenches and in the boardroom. Outside of Vivial, he serves as Chairman of the Board for Eastman Kodak, Neff Corp., Merrill Corp., Sorenson Communications, and Tembec Corp. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Broadview Networks and Nextel International.
Mr. Continenza holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
