Barclay offers a range of credit cards, from those that come with rewards systems to cards geared towards travelers and business owners. If you’re looking for a new credit card with straightforward terms that’s backed a leading name in the industry, looking through the selection offered by Barclay is a smart move. It’s also advantageous that the vast majority of cards available from this issuer come with no annual fee.
Here are five of the top Barclay credit cards available.
1. Barclaycard Rewards MasterCard
This Barclay credit card comes with a good rewards system that awards double points per dollar spent at gas stations, grocery stores, and on utilities. Since these are things that most people routinely shop for, earning points is quick and easy. For all other types of purchases you’ll earn one point per dollar spent. In addition, cardholders get free access to their FICO score and the card is available to people who have at least fair credit. The option to redeem rewards starts at 1,000 points, which is equivalent to $10 back.
Best for: Those with fair credit who want a rewards credit card with no annual fee. The APR is on the high side, but that’s the case in general for credit cards aimed at people with lower scores. If you have at least good credit, you should skip this card and consider one of Barclay’s options with a better rate.
APR: variable 25.24%
Annual Fee: $0
2. Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard
This Barclay credit card is great for travelers and the sign-up bonus makes it well worth a look. You’ll earn a flat two miles per dollar spent on any purchase. New cardholders are eligible to receive 50,000 bonus miles after spending at least $3,000 within 90 days of opening an account, which is equivalent to a $500 credit.
Points can be redeemed for travel statement credits, which cover purchases related to hotels, car rentals, train and airfare, and taxis. Additional perks include no foreign transaction fees, complimentary access to your FICO score, and 24/7 access to the MasterCard World Elite travel concierge.
Best for: Those who frequently travel, as the points system for this car is good for travel statement credits.

It awards three points per dollar spent at participating hotels and two points per dollar spent at gas stations, grocery stores, and for utilities. It’s important to note that Target and Walmart are excluded from the list of grocery stores, so those who do most of their shopping at those retailers may want to opt for a different Barclay card.

Best for: Anyone who prefers to stay at Wyndham hotels and travels often for work or pleasure.
