Banyan Tree Mayakoba

Banyan Tree Mayakoba is one of the most affordable five-star hotels in Mexico but still offers an amazing experience. It is located in Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen, and is close to many attractions. This posh, modern hotel features villas that are inspired by Asian and Mayan design. They have 24-hour room service available, private plunge pools, flat-screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, iPod docks, and either a terrace or a garden area. Some also have spa treatment beds. TRS Yucatan Hotel

It is located in Solidaridad-Akumal in Playa del Carmen. This adult-only resort has contemporary rooms with flat-screen televisions, DVD players, minibars, balconies or terraces, Jacuzzis, Nespresso machines, and free Wi-Fi. The buffet-style breakfast is complimentary and dining options for the rest of the day include five buffet restaurants and ten a la carte restaurants. Esperanza, An Auberge Resort

Esperanza is a swanky beachside resort in Punta Ballena, Cabo San Lucas. The grass-roofed buildings at this resort are connected by stone paths and there is a choice of rooms, suites, or private villas; all of which feature ocean views, terraces or balconies, hammocks, hot tubs, flat-screen televisions, and handcrafted furniture. Guests can dine in the hotel’s upscale seafood restaurant which is housed in a thatched-roof gazebo. Alternatively, they can enjoy a drink in the bar or relax in the lounge. This hotel offers guests free classes in its fitness center. There are many other amenities available to guests including an infinity pool, a hot tub, and a spa. The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort

The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort is in Punta de Mita, Nay, and has wonderful views over the ocean. This beachside resort has posh rooms with terraces or balconies, iPhone docks, free Wi-Fi, luxurious bedding, marble bathrooms, flat-screen televisions, minibars, and 24-hour room service. Some rooms also have separate kitchens or private pools. The hotel has five restaurants serving a diverse selection of cuisine. There are also several bars, a high-end spa, three infinity pools, two golf courses, a fitness room, tennis courts, beach access, and a kids’ club.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort

Of all the hotels and resorts in Mexico, it is La Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort which has the best reviews and ratings from former guests. Located in San Jose del Cabo, this luxurious and palatial beachfront resort offers many amenities to its guests. The polished suites have fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, either a balcony or a terrace, and personal butler service. Upgraded suites have additional bedrooms and whirlpool tubs. The villas have between one and three bedrooms and some are available with private pools. The complimentary is served in the hotel’s restaurant which has a terrace for al fresco dining and also serves meals throughout the day.
