What are some of the best places to stay in Carmel? Clearly, if you plan on traveling to this destination, you might not be planning on spending the majority of your time in your hotel but that doesn’t mean that you don’t want to stay in a place that will leave a good impression on you. In some cases, you might be going there just to get away from everything else so you can stay in your hotel and be left alone. Carmel Bay View Inn

At first glance, you might not be too terribly impressed by this hotel because it’s not so ostentatious that you immediately think about how luxurious it is. From the outside, it looks a lot more functional than anything else. However, you would be mistaken if you fail to give it a chance. It’s actually one of the top-rated hotels in the entire area and once you get into the rooms, you’ll begin to understand why. In addition, you’re only six miles from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so you can get out and see the sights while you’re there.

Briarwood Inn

This facility is a bed and breakfast that’s close to a lot of tourist attractions but most importantly, it gives you a feeling of independence while you’re staying there. Since it’s a bed and breakfast and not a traditional hotel, it’s a little more cozy than most other facilities. In addition, you have the opportunity to enjoy a bit more privacy and in general, the entire facility feels more relaxed than some of the major hotels where there’s so much hustle and bustle. Hofsas House Hotel

This is a very large building that’s decorated in Bavarian architecture. There’s a gorgeous pool right in the middle of the facility and you have the chance to enjoy it every day of your stay. The rooms themselves are spacious enough to allow you to be comfortable, even when you’re staying there with someone else. In addition, they all have a large bathroom that gives you an opportunity to move around without feeling confined and you can bring your pets along, too.
