The Five Best Cars from the 2019 Geneva Auto Show

If you love cars, then Geneva is the place to be every year. This is a car lovers playground, where you get to see the latest makes and model of vehicles that, until now, you never even knew were in the design stages. It is quite an amazing spectacle. Of course, not every vehicle there will make the splash it was intended to, but some are simply so far above the competition that you just know they will continue to be talked about for years. Here are the five best cars from the 2019 Geneva Auto Show that you will want to know about.

Pininfarina Battista

This is an absolutely amazing car. Ferrari lovers will swear that this is an exact replica. You wouldn’t be remiss in thinking that, as Pininfarina actually used to design the Ferrari back in the day. This car is all electric and comes with an impressive 1,900 horsepower. If you love speed, this is the car for you. It gets up to 186 miles per hour from a dead stop in only 12 seconds. The claim is that you can go for 280 miles before you need to charge the car. Only 150 of them ever be made, so owning one would truly be a special experience.

Audi R8

Audi built the R8 with performance in mind. It has 10 cylinders and 611 horsepower. As if that were not enough, all of this power results in 428 pound per feet of torque and drivers benefit from having a seven speed clutch gearbox at their disposal. Billed as an all wheel drive supercar, you can get from zero to 60 in only 3.1 seconds. Even the standard paint job on this car is extra special. It is a sleek Daytona Grey Matt complete with 20-inch wheel wells that are a bronze overlay. This will turn more than a few heads as it goes screaming down the road.

Aston Martin AM-RB 003

This year’s entry at the Geneva Auto Show from Aston Martin is quite a stunner. It is a limited edition car that makes use of the most advanced in aerodynamic technology. You will find that an airfoil runs the length of the rear wing of the car. This is a FlexFoil that effectively changes the downforce on the car within any physical adjustments needing to be made to the wing. This car is so unique that Aston Martin has not even talked about the powertrain yet, so we do not know how much horsepower this one will have. Just expect it to be a lot! Only 500 of these will be made, so get in line now if you want one.

Bentley Continental GT No. 9

Bentley continues to turn heads with its mix of refined and elegant and cars. The new Continental GT No. 9 expands on that legacy. This car is actually designed in honor of Sir Tim Birkin and only 100 of them will ever be manufactured. Each of them will be fashioned with the No.9 to represent Birkin’s entry number at Le Mans back in the day. There is even a unique 18K gold organ stop built into the design of this one.

McLaren Senna GTR

This is a race car in every sense of the word. That is why this McLaren was such a hit at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show. The rear wing of this vehicle alone is a spectacle to behold. The engine is powerful at 819 horsepower, house in a 4.0-liter twin turbo and V-8. The car is 22 pounds lighter than its predecessor. Amazingly enough, this car is already sold out as only 75 of them will ever be made. You’ll really have to do some work to get one, but for now, at least you can marvel at the design and be amazed at what Aston Martin has accomplished here.

There are certainly other cars at the Geneva show that turned more than their fair share of heads, but these five were just extra special. They each are going to be true spectacles on the road, and anyone would be fortunate to own one of them. You never know, you might just pull up next to one a red light near you one day soon.
