The Five Best Hotels in Chincoteague, VA

If you plan on traveling to Chincoteague, Virginia or the surrounding area, you will obviously need to find a place to stay. There are several hotels in the area so you shouldn’t have any trouble whatsoever finding something that works well for you. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for something that is very straightforward or if you would prefer a place with a little more luxury, there are plenty of options available to you. Below are five examples of some of the best places to stay any time you’re in the area. These examples range from the rooms that are fairly basic, yet spacious, all the way to full-fledged cottages that make you feel like you never even left home. Some of them have their own kitchens and others prepare the meals for you. Many of them have swimming pools. One of the facilities even has a place where can rent both horses and bicycles, giving you all the chances you could ever hope for to get outside and enjoy a little adventure.

Waterside Inn

The rooms in this place are cute, but they’re not so over-the-top fancy that you feel like you can’t relax when you’re in there. The place is spacious and clean, so you have plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped for space. One of the best things about this hotel is that it sits right on the water and there is even a fishing pier right there. All you have to do to get to it is go out the door and take a few steps. There’s also a free breakfast every morning and free WiFi, so you will have everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one.

Marina Bay Hotel & Suites

As you might have guessed from the name here, you can choose between enjoying a regular room or you can take a suite. Choosing the latter will give you a chance to enjoy some privacy and a little extra space. Like the establishment discussed in the above paragraph, this one also has a great view of the ocean, along with WiFi at no extra cost. You can even enjoy a free breakfast that’s cooked to order, so you never have to worry about starting the hungry.

Refuge Inn

The rooms are comfortable and offer more than enough room, but that’s definitely not where the fun ends here. This place has a swimming pool, bicycle rentals, and even a place to rent horses for trail riding. Of course, there is also free breakfast and WiFi here as well.

Island Manor House

There is nothing standard about this place. It isn’t just another hotel full of rooms, or even a collection of suites. Instead, this is a beautiful bed and breakfast cottage that almost makes you feel like you’re home. There is more than enough room to enjoy your stay and you have all the amenities that normally come with staying in a bed and breakfast, such as having a hot breakfast made fresh every morning. Of course there are other amenities, too. If you can’t be at home, this is definitely the next best thing.

Dove Winds

This is another facility that has some great rooms, and each room also has a small kitchenette and a fireplace. It makes the entire environment feel more cozy, which is great when you’re planning on traveling a lot. They even have options for extended stays, giving you the chance to enjoy all of the amenities for as long as you want.
Deciding which of these five facilities you should pick is likely going to be the most difficult thing when it comes to traveling to the area. It really comes down to your personality and what suits you the best. If you love to spend time outdoors, there is a place here that would be perfect for you. The same is true if you want all the comforts of home or if you would prefer to have your meals prepared for you while you spend your time doing other things. It’s all about deciding what interests you the most and then choosing a place to stay that meets those needs.
