Hops & Pie
Hops & Pie is the second best pizza place in Denver. The chefs do a remarkable job of preparing the crust to a buttery and crackly perfection. Their pizzas are done in a classic Chicago deep dish style with a sprinkling of cornmeal added to the bottom of their hand tossed dough. This makes it just a little richer than the average dough and it adds a pleasant crunchiness that averages about a half inch in thickness. Hops & Pie makes their own mozzarella and many of the sausage toppings used in-house for a unique and one of a kind flavor. You can choose from Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, mushrooms, olives, smoked ham hock, pastrami, and many more meat, cheese and vegetable toppings. Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana
Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana was formerly known as Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza. You can tell by the name that their expertise is in making the best pizza in town, and that’s what they’re known for. If you only stop by one pizza place in Denver, we recommend Racca’s. They make their pizzas in Neapolitan style, and offer authentic pizza pies with regional distinctions. They offer Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and New York City varieties. Raccas is recognized as an award winning pizzaria with pizza makers trained under a “bona fide master pizzaiolo.” They were certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana which makes this the only certified Neapolitan pizza place in the city.
