1. Choices to fit your real needs

American Airlines offers a variety of credit cards with different advantages. The company realizes that there is no such thing as a one size fits all when it comes to credit cards. American has so many options to choose from that it’s not difficult to find the right one to get the greatest rewards based on your lifestyle and spending habits.

2. Free bag check cards

This is an option that is quickly going away. Frequent flyers can save a lot of money in a year’s time with this option. American Airlines has cards that offer one free bag check for the cardholder and up to four traveling companions. This is a good deal for families or friends who travel together. Not all American Airlines credit cards have this option but there are a few that do so it pays to check out all of the benefits before signing up if this is a reward that you are interested in.

People who spend a lot of time flying understand the value of boarding privileges versus waiting in a long line and maybe even being bumped from an overbooked flight. AA offers card options that provide this valuable service. The time it will save for frequent flyers adds up in just a few flights, and this is not to mention that there is a lot less hassle. This is a significant reward for flyers who travel internationally and it is one of the many options that AA has built into their plans to offer a more customized experience for their customers.

5. American Airlines is the largest air carrier in the world

Because AA is the largest air carrier, they offer a variety of options for their cardholders. There is a collaboration with a variety of banks offering credit to their customers, such as Citi and Barclay’s.
