10 Benefits of Having The Hilton Honors Aspire Card

Hilton Honors Aspire Card

Do you want a hassle-free credit card with more travel perks than you can count, free credits towards stays at Hilton hotels and resorts, a generous list of additional services such as extended warranty, purchase protection, and entertainment experiences, plus a load of added extras such as free year-end summary’s, flexible payment plans and fraud protection? If you do, you may want to consider the Hilton Honors Aspire Card. As one of the top travel cards for 2019, it offers lucky cardholders a host of benefits most providers struggle to come close to matching. The downside? An unavoidably steep annual fee of $450. If you're not sure if it’s worth the cost, check out these 10 benefits of having a Hilton Honors Aspire Card to help you decide.

1.A Generous Sign Up Bonus

Admittedly, the $450 you’ll need to stump up in annual fees seems daunting, but when you start to consider the benefits of the Hilton Honors Aspire Card, any reservations will quickly dissipate. First to note is the very generous sign-up bonus. Granted, it will take more than just signing your name to the dotted line to qualify, but provided you spend a minimum of $4000 within your first 3 months of card membership, you’ll be rewarded with a very generous sign-up bonus of 15,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points.

2.Hilton Honors Annual Free Weekend Night Reward

As soon as you receive your card after signing up, the benefits start rolling in… and we aren’t just talking about the sign-up bonus. One of the perks you’ll receive as a Hilton Honors Aspire Cardholder is a free weekend night reward, which allows you to stay one night at any participating hotel for free (provided the night you choose falls on the weekend). What’s even better is that this isn’t a one- time affair: every year after renewal, you’ll be rewarded with a further weekend night reward. As an extra bonus, you have the chance to win an additional night if you spend $60,000 on purchases in a calendar year.

3.$250 Hilton Resort Statement Credit

Fancy getting your hands on $250 Hilton Resort statement credits? With the Hilton Aspire, you can. Use your card against eligible purchases at participating Hilton resorts (room rates, taxes, and any incidentals charged to your room) and you’ll get a very generous $250 in statement credits per anniversary of your membership. These can then be used against your next stay at over 230 eligible Hilton Resorts. The options of how to use the credit are endless- incidentals, room service, maid service, food, beverages, spa treatments, room rates… basically, if it’s something you need to pay for while staying at a Hilton Resort, you can use your statement credit to take care of the bill.

4.Points for Purchases

In addition to the 15,000 Hilton Honors Bonus points you’ll earn just for signing up to the card, you can continue to earn points and rewards with every eligible purchase you make throughout the life of the card. Earn 14 x Hilton Honors Bonus Points when you use your card to make any purchase (including room rates and incidentals) at a participating hotel or resort in the Hilton Portfolio, 7 x Hilton Honors Bonus Points when you use your card for flights booked directly with airlines or through amextravel.com, 7 x Hilton Honors Bonus Points when you use your card for car rentals booked through select car rental companies, and 3x Hilton Honors Bonus Points for all other purchases.

5.$250 Airline Fee Credit

If you’re a frequent flyer who regularly checks in baggage or can’t get enough of airline food, you’ll like this next one on the list. For each calendar year of membership, you’ll earn a $250 airline fee credit that can be used against any incidental charges you incur with your qualifying airline of choice. While you can’t use the credit against the cost of the flight itself, you can use it to cover any of those annoying little additional charges (including checked baggage, inflight refreshments, and flight change fees) that, unless you’re careful, can sometimes add up to more than the flight itself.

6. $100 Hilton On -Property Credit

For frequent travelers (or even home vacationers who like to treat themselves to the occasional luxury hotel stay) one of the main perks of owning a Hilton Honors Aspire Card is the $100 Hilton-On Property reward you’ll qualify for whenever you book a 2-night minimum stay at Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts or Conrad Hotels & Resorts through www.hiltonhonorsaspirecard.com. Once you’ve booked your stay, you’ll receive a hotel credit of $1 for each dollar of qualifying charges, up to a max value of $100. The property credit will automatically be applied as a credit to your hotel bill when you checkout, so you don’t have to worry about any complicated redemption process.

7. Priority Pass Select

If you like a bit of luxury before your flight, you’re in luck. The Hilton Honors Aspire Card is your free pass to over 1000 VIP airport lounges around the world. Once you sign up to the card, you’ll be entitled to enroll in complimentary Priory Pass Select membership, guarantying you never have to slum it in the waiting room again. What’s more, the pass will also cover up to 2 guests per visit, so you don’t have to leave the family behind.

8. Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance

With the Hilton Honors Aspire Card, you can say goodbye to costly car rental insurance costs. As long as you use your card to reserve and pay for your car rental, you can decline the collision damage waiver at the rental counter with confidence. Should anything unfortunate happen on your trip (at least to the extent of having your car stolen or damaged), you’ll be covered with Amex’s car rental loss and damage insurance.

9. Premium Roadside Assistance

As a Hilton Honors Aspire Cardholder, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that in the unfortunate event you get in trouble while out driving, you’ll be covered with Amex’s very helpful premium roadside assistance program. If you need a jumpstart, a tow, or a tire chance, simply give the number on the back of your card a call (regardless of the day or time) and Amex will send someone to help.

10. Shoprunner Membership

If you like to indulge in the odd spot of retail therapy, you’ll appreciate this next one on our list. The Hilton Honors Aspire Card entitles you to free membership of Shoprunner, which in turn will get you 2-day shipping at over 100+ online stores.
