In order to find out which hotels you can really save some money on, you have to go to their website and look to see which hotels are participating in the PointBreaks program. Once you find one, be sure to go ahead and book the room because if you don’t, you can bet that someone else will. As a matter of fact, it won’t take very long for all of the rooms to fill up considering the prices they’re going for.

In many cases, you can use your IHG Rewards through the PointBreaks program to get hotels for less than half of what you might normally expect to pay for a similar room. It makes all the difference in the world in getting that perfect hotel room for your vacation without breaking the bank in the process. Think about it this way. Imagine that you find the hotel that you think is perfect for you and your family, yet it costs upwards of $200 per night for each person to stay there. Through the IHG PointBreaks program, you might be able to get that room for less than $60 a night and in some cases, you can even get it for free. It all depends on which hotel room you’re talking about and how many rewards points you have in order to pay for it.

The point is, it’s not very often that a program like this comes along. If you do owe anything after your rewards have been applied, you can go ahead and pay the difference then but don’t be surprised if the rewards points alone cover the cost of the room.
