If you are a sports car enthusiast, then you may have seen what the 2017 Jaguar F-Type is capable of. If not we’re here to break it down for you. The F-TYPE R Coupe model offers outstanding levels of dynamic capability and control. What you get from this car is nothing but the quality and standards that Jaguar always strives to have. The F-TYPE range is engineered for high performance and responsive handling. Following its legendary predecessors, the F-TYPE delivers an instinctive driving experience. So what makes this car stand out? Let’s have a look.

Interior

Drivers get the best interior design from Jaguar. The car has a unique personality thanks to the ‘R’ theme. It also includes Dark Linear Aluminum on the center console. Just like its predecessor, the F-TYPE R Coupe model offers leather lovers a high quality leather with twin needle stitching. The headrest is embossed with ‘R’ to offer body-hugging performance when you decide to burn the rubber against the tarmac.

You will also like the fact that the usability and practicality of the trunk space has been prioritized. This car has a space large enough to handle a set of luggage or two golf bags. That’s not all. For easy access and added convenience, you can open or close the tailgate at the touch of a button. The powered function is optional.

The wind reflector works just fine. You can reduce the noise from the wind further. This means that you can enhance the peace in the interior of your Jaguar 2017 F-Type. The wind deflector on the open-top driving is optional and also fits between the rollover protection system just fine.

Performance

With a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, what you get from this little monster is 550 horsepower which gives it the ability to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. The All-Wheel Drive feature also makes F-TYPE R the car to get. The Jaguar 2017 F-Type invites enthusiastic driving. What makes it stand out is the fact that its standard Torque Vectoring technology provides controlled braking on the inside rear wheel. As it does this, it also feeds more power to the outside rear wheel. So when it comes to steering performances and driver confidence, this machine knows how to please.

The Carbon Ceramic Matrix Braking system is optional and available on F-TYPE Automatic transmission, R and SVR models. This system was derived from motorsport technology and has been regarded as the highest braking system ever fitted to a Jaguar road car. It also features 4-piston rear and 6-piston front brake calipers. With a rigid body, drivers have nothing to worry about when stepping on the peddle. Its stiffness enhances suspension which applies available traction and fully harnesses the power that comes from the 5.0 liter,550 horsepower V8 engine.

Exterior

Apart from just offering the best drive, this car also has striking looks regardless of your angle of view. The powerful look that matches its performance is intensified by the impressive 20 inch Gyrodyne Silver alloy wheels. That’s not all, for a sporty feeling, the outboard mounted quad exhaust explains it all.

Everything about this car is fast; even the convertible top. You can raise or lower it in a matter of 12 seconds and at a speed of up to 30 mph. It is built with the compact and weight-saving fabric to enhance its performance and handle the high speeds of the car.

Looking at this car from a distance, you will notice the sleek look that’s brought out well by the flush-fitting heated rear glass window and compact size when folded. You don’t need a tonneau cover to make your car look great. You can also choose from the following roofs available.

Aluminum roof: This is long and lightweight just like the rest of the vehicle. It gives the car a Coupe look. It also complements the car’s color, style and line apart from just giving it a sporty look.

Panoramic Glass Roof: You can introduce even more natural light and airness to the interior of your 2017 Jaguar F-Type. All F-TYPE Premium S and R Coupe models have a standard full width panoramic roof.

Carbon fiber roof: Who said you can’t have a strong yet light roof structure that’s visible through a deep, high-grade lacquered finish? The carbon fiber outer and inner panels are bonded together to give an impression to this model.
