New LAX Private Lounge “The Salon” Epitomizes Luxe Experience

Going to the airport can be a real pain these days. On top of flights that are delayed and schedules that make you feel like you need to be able to run a marathon in order to get from one terminal to the next, you also have those security lines that force you to get there a minimum of three hours before your flight. You go through all of that and then you’re typically thrust into a waiting area with dozens of other people, all so you can sit in those uncomfortable pre-formed plastic seats that have been around since the 1960’s. It’s not exactly the most enjoyable experience in the world. Fortunately, some airports are trying to change that. In this particular case, Los Angeles LAX airport has completely outdone themselves with a private lounge that makes going to the airport feel like an exclusive experience.

No More Security Lines

Perhaps the best thing about using this new and exclusive lounge at LAX is that you don’t have to go through any more security lines. That fact alone is enough to convince most people that it is well worth the effort. Make no mistake about it, there’s a reason it’s called a private space. If you want to take advantage of it, you’re going to have to add it in as part of your ticket and you will be asked to fork over some decent cash in order to use it. However, the perks are very much worth the cost, at least as far as many individuals are concerned. The fact that you get to skip the security lines and go straight to the private lounge to await your flight’s departure makes it all worthwhile. Anyone that has been through one of those security lines in recent years knows how frustrating it can be. You stand there and wait for hours, only to be asked to practically disrobe in front of the entire crowd and have all of your personal belongings sifted through with a fine-tooth comb. Granted, not every person receives this treatment but if you’re one of the lucky few that gets picked out of the crowd, it can be beyond frustrating. With this new space, you’re eliminating that problem before you even get to the airport.

The Food Is Outstanding

If you’re in a rush and you don’t have time to go to a restaurant, they’ve got you covered. In fact, the food at this exclusive lounge is among some of the best prepared in the area, made by bona fide chefs who know how to create something that is truly unique and memorable for all the best reasons. Better yet, all of the food on the menu is complimentary. It’s all tied in with the package when you reserve the space itself. You don’t have to worry about being charged an additional fee for eating, no matter how much you decide to eat. You can choose to enjoy a meal before you take off or even when you land. There are plenty of different options to choose from, so you’re not likely to get bored with the menu any time soon. Of course, the lounge also offers a full bar so it’s not like you won’t be able to enjoy a few drinks at the same time that you enjoy your meal. It really is an experience in and of itself, one that you will probably want to repeat again and again.

You Can Even Stretch Your Legs

What if you’re not really in the mood to simply sit at the bar and wait for your flight to arrive? There is no need to worry. You can even get up and stretch your legs when you reserve this private space, because it comes complete with an outdoor garden. As a matter of fact, the attached garden serves as the perfect backdrop for an opportunity to walk around and get some air or do some thinking without being bothered by crowds or anything else for that matter. It’s a perfect opportunity to get your head in the right place before going on a long business trip or to refresh after coming back from one. When you reserve the space, you can easily enjoy the atmosphere indoors or take a walk outside and get some clarity. Either way, it’s up to you. The airport really did seem to think of everything when they put the idea for this private lounge into motion.

You might think that the ability to skip all of the TSA lines and enjoy a private arena that gets you to your flight faster and with less hassle would cost so much money it wouldn’t even be feasible. In reality, this one is fairly priced, to say the least. If you’re looking for the semi social salon where you can enjoy drinks in a social setting and wait away from the crowds, you’re looking at spending just under $700 in order to reserve it. Of course, the private space also has two other options available to you that offer even more privacy than the salon. They cost more, but they may also be worth it if you really don’t want to deal with all of the hustle and bustle that automatically comes with going to the airport. One is a completely private lounge, complete with its own TSA lines and baggage check points. Another service that they offer allows you to be picked up from either the salon or the private lounge and taken directly to the airplane, almost as if you were flying in a private jet. One thing is certain, this is something that is sure to be used on a regular basis by successful businessmen who are traveling on a global scale as well as people whose job just so happens to put them in the public eye, as it gives them an opportunity to fly commercially without dealing with the massive crowds that tend to gather around anyone who is considered ‘famous.’ At the end of the day, it’s all about comfort, convenience and privacy. It’s no wonder that this has been awaited with so much anticipation. It probably won’t be long before other airports are stepping up their game as well.
