Five of The Best Luxury Hotels and Resorts in San Diego

Luxury Hotels in San Diego

San Diego is the eighth largest city in the United States and a popular vacation and travel destination for many. Given the fact that it’s in Southern California and right on the ocean, San Diego has been attracting all sorts of travelers for years now. With an yearly average temperature of around 70-degress, it’s not hard as to see why that is. Naturally in any area that’s a popular travel destination, San Diego is filled with some pretty great resorts and hotels.

San Diego is consistently ranked as a city that has some of the best weather in the world, so it’s no surprise that the beach resorts here are something else. So if you were traveling to San Diego, what would be some optimal hotels to stay in? We are going to look at five of our favorite luxury hotels and resorts in San Diego that are considered to be some of the best that the city has to offer.

The US Grant

Constructed in 1910, The US Grant has become an iconic landmark within San Diego. It constantly receives great reviews, and many consider it to be one of the best hotels in the area. 4. The Andaz San Diego

The Andaz San Diego

Also located downtown in San Diego is the Andaz. If the US Grant were more a classic luxury hotel, the Andaz San Diego is more of a modern luxury hotel. From each room to the lobby, the Andaz clearly displays a great sense of style. The entire property is very modern, suave, and extremely luxurious. There are 159 rooms in this four-star property, and they are all exquisite. If you want a more stylish and “hip” luxury hotel, this is the place to stay. The views from the roof are also quite hard to beat.
