A Closer Look at the New Zenith Defy Skyline

New Zenith Defy Skyline

Zenith has long been known for making watches that speak to an entire generation. One of their latest releases includes the Zenith Defy Skyline, a watch that is the newest addition to the overall Defy line from the watchmaker. The thing that you’re most likely to notice about this particular watch when you first set eyes on it is that it’s elegant, yet simple. It’s clearly a watch designed for those who have refined tastes, but it’s not in the least bit ostentatious. As a matter of fact, it incorporates a very simple design that is more than capable of speaking for itself. If you want to know more about it, then it’s time to take a closer look at this incredible watch that will undoubtedly become one of the best sellers for Zenith as time goes on.

What You need to Know

There are a lot of different things that you need to know about this watch because there are several things about it that make it stand out almost immediately. If you know anything about the watchmaker’s history, then you know that the Zenith Defy first came into being as far back as the 1970s. Obviously, the watch that has just debuted is updated in both looks and performance, but it’s worth noting that the line from the 1970s it’s still going strong. That says a lot about the potential for keeping one of these newer watches around for several decades as opposed to wearing it for two or three years and then having to purchase something else. Perhaps the thing that truly stands out the most about this watch is that it isn’t a chronograph. These days, it’s practically unheard of to have a high-end watch that isn’t designed in this manner. That said, it utilizes the same El Primero 3600 chronograph that previous watches have also used, only in a different manner. This particular watch has the hour and minute hand just as you would expect, with the third hand keeping count of the seconds at the nine o’clock position. It makes a full rotation every 10 seconds and is powered completely on its own, apart from the rest of the watch. That’s saying quite a lot for its design because it’s both creative and innovative enough to make the watch stand out in a market where you practically have to do something different in order to generate sales. When you put all of this in a package that looks great, like this particular watch does, you have something that has genuine potential to become a top seller.

Impeccable Style

There’s absolutely no doubt that this particular watch incorporates impeccable style that is difficult to match. Perhaps the most interesting thing about it is that the watchmaker makes no effort in hiding the fact that this watch is directly inspired from its predecessor which first came onto the scene in 1969 and, as previously mentioned, took the world by storm during the 1970s. There’s no doubt about the fact that this is a stylish watch. It has a 41 mm dial constructed of stainless steel, complete with a bezel that has 12 distinct sides. Of course, the bracelet is also made of stainless steel. This works very well against the dark but still vibrant blue color on the face of the watch, giving it a certain distinguished appearance without making it stand out in such an obvious way that it becomes an eyesore. If you look closely, you’ll see that the face of the dial is covered in tiny stars that provide dimension to the face of the watch in a way that very few other things would be able to do. All of the hands are silver in color and the watch features the date at the three o’clock position. When it’s all said and done, you have a watch that fits easily with someone wearing a suit and tie, yet it also works just as well with jeans and a t-shirt. There are only a handful of watches that are capable of performing well in both extremes, so when you find one that can handle it, it’s important not to pass it up. That’s especially true if you’re looking for a good, high-quality watch that is a solid performer and looks good at the same time, yet you need it to be versatile enough to be worn in virtually any type of situation. This is a watch that can handle all of those things and stand up to the type of punishment that comes with wearing it in virtually any situation on a daily basis.

Options Abound

Of course, there would be little point in even thinking about buying a high-end watch if you don’t have some options available to you. There’s no need to worry because Zenith has provided plenty of options for you here. For starters, you can choose the brilliant blue dial discussed herein or you can choose to go with another color, namely black or white. While there is no doubt that some people have a definite color preference, it’s hard to go wrong with any of these choices. They all look amazing and all of them have a certain degree of elegance about them that makes them stand out in all the best ways possible. If you want even more choices, you might be in luck, provided you act quickly. While the watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet, you do have the option of purchasing one with a rubber strap that matches the color on the dial. These straps even incorporate the same starry pattern that you see on the face of the dial. The catch is that the rubber straps are offered in extremely limited numbers. If you want one, you’ll have to order before supplies run out. Furthermore, you have to request the rubber strap when ordering if that is indeed what you want, as the watch automatically comes with the stainless steel bracelet. If you’re interested in owning a watch that’s capable of keeping time down to a tenth of a second, here it is. The watches are currently on sale for $8,400. Considering their popularity and quality, many people will likely consider that a bargain.
