A Closer Look at The Nike Air Max Plus “Sky Nike”

Most people would agree that there are shoes and then there are shoes. Whether you’re wearing trainers to get in shape, dress shoes for work, shoes must be capable of doing three things. First and foremost, they have to be effective at the particular job they were designed to do. Second, they have to be comfortable. No one wants to spend an entire day with their feet crammed into shoes that make them feel miserable. Last but certainly not least, they have to be able to perform. This is important with any type of shoe but it’s perhaps most important when you’re wearing trainers. If you want one that’s capable of going above and beyond consistently, you may want to consider something like the Nike Air Max Plus Sky Nike. If you’re wondering what makes the shoe so special, here are 10 things you might not know about it. By the time you’re done reading, you may find yourself running out to the nearest store in order to secure a pair of your very own.

1. Like everything else, its release has been delayed

This probably won’t come as a shock to anyone, but the release of the shoe was delayed, thanks in large part to all of the issues brought on by COVID-19. When the entire economy came to a screeching halt, so did the release of the shoe. You can’t fault anyone at Nike for making the decision to wait on things. It’s not like there would have been any shoppers to purchase the shoes if they had been released on time anyway. At any rate, the shoe is almost ready for its big debut. If anything, the delay will only make the public want it more than ever.

2. The shoes aren’t quite available to the public just yet

The official release date for them is June 20, just a couple of days away. This day has been a long time coming, and there is no doubt that people are just as excited to get their hands on these as any other shoe Nike has ever produced. If you want to get your hands on a pair, you’ll only have to wait a little while longer. Of course, you’ll also have to find out where you can actually buy them.

3. Speaking of knowing where to buy them, here is the information

There are five different places where you can purchase these shoes. Obviously, you can buy them from Nike, but that certainly isn’t the only place. You can also find them at two of the biggest footwear retailers in the United States, Footlocker and Champs. If one of those stores isn’t close to you, you may want to try Eastbay or Footaction, the other two stores that will be selling the shoes for Nike.

4. As you might expect, they’re eye-catching

If you’ve purchased shoes from Nike in the past, you already know one thing. Practically every shoe they produce is not only of exceptional quality, but also good looks. Some have argued that as a whole, this particular line of shoes isn’t quite as flashy or eye-catching as some of the other lines produced by the company in the past. Others feel like Nike got it spot-on with this design. They come in three different colors, Speed Yellow, Black and Metallic Silver. They definitely have the ability to get your attention, in all the best ways possible. Therefore, if you’re looking for trainers that are capable of getting the job done time and again, all while allowing you to look great in the process, these shoes are for you.

5. You may have to save up for them

The shoes certainly aren’t as expensive as some, but they’re not exactly cheap, either. If you’re in the mood to nab a pair for yourself, expect that purchase to set you back by $155. They’re far more affordable than some other lines of shoes that easily cost more than twice that amount. However, they’re not really in a comfortable price range for everyone, either. One thing is certain, if you make the decision to get them, they will likely be among the most comfortable shoes you’ve ever worn. They also have tendency to last for quite a long time when they’re properly cared for, so it’s not like you’ll be needing to spend money on yet another pair of shoes for quite some time.

6. In part, the shoe goes back to its roots

Back in 1998, Nike introduced something called Air Tune, the special sole design that the company has become known for. Since then, the company has used the same sole design for a number of its more modern shoes. It sort of goes back to the old saying about not fixing what isn’t broken. They’ve had great success with it, so it only makes sense that they would continue to use the same base design for their new line of shoes. It also brings forth a bit of history, something true Nike fans will likely appreciate (https://www.nicekicks.com/nike-air-max-plus-sky/).

7. They’re not afraid to display their logo

This might sound a bit silly, but it’s also true. If you look closely, you can see the Nike logo in the design itself, plastered all over the entire shoe. Some might think of this as shameless marketing but in truth, it’s an excellent way to advertise their brand for the whole world to see.

8. You don’t have to worry about cushion or comfort

It seems like there are some trainers that just don’t offer much in the way of cushioning for the soles of your feet. Obviously, that can become quite painful, especially if you’re training at a higher level. Considering that’s when you’re most likely to wear these types of shoes, it’s always been a bit of a curiosity. The good news is that you don’t have to worry about that with this particular line. They made it a point to design the shoes with plenty of extra cushion so your feet can take a pounding all day long without feeling the effects afterward.

9. They also help stabilize your ankles

If you’re one of the many individuals who have a tendency to turn your ankle on a regular basis, you’ll be glad to know that these shoes also provide plenty of sturdy design when it comes to ankle support. It makes it much less likely that you’ll end up injuring your ankle while you’re wearing them.

10. They’re lightweight

Nobody wants to go for a run in a pair of shoes that makes them feel like they’re wearing leg weights. You don’t have to worry about that with these. In addition, they’re breathable and they’re easy to clean. When it’s all said and done, you can’t really ask for much more.
