History of Nomad Inc.
Nomad Inc. was founded by Frank Scotti. Frank realized that his love of world travel and adventure was something that he wanted to share with others. He pursued these interests from an early age and he was not opposed to sneaking out of the house for a night time fishing adventure. He grew up in Long Island, NY, but knew that the Rocky Mountains of Colorado would be a more suitable place to pursue his love of adventure.
In search of even more exciting and challenging adventures, he pursued his interests in whitewater kayaking, helicopter skiing, scuba diving, snowboarding, surfing, climbing and as many other experiences as he felt the urge to try. His adventurous spirit for something new and exciting took him on excursions to New Zealand, South and Central America, Southeast Asia and many destinations within the United States.
Nomad Inc. was established by the man who lived and embraced a nomadic lifestyle, hence the name Nomad Inc. The company provides standard travel packages with an added value. Time is taken with each client to carefully plan each step of their travel itinerary to craft the ideal package. Scotti’s knowledge of popular destination areas and the activities available offer a wider range for customization. Frank Scotti holds Bachelor’s degrees in Wilderness Leadership and cultural studies. The combination gives him additional training and insight into working with clients in a natural environmental setting. His certifications make him the ambassador of choice in most outdoor activities. He is an ACA kayak instructor (ACA); Certified CPR/AED with the ARC; Registered Maine Guide; American Mechanized Ski Guide I; Level II Avalanche Certification AIARE and Outdoor Emergency Care National Ski Patrol.

Mountain Biking
Western Colorado mountain biking trails feature spectacular views from the early part of spring into the latter part of fall. Cross country adventures feature trails of varying levels of challenge through Crested Butte and the Roaring Fork Valley. Trips may be customized for day trips; beginners, intermediate and expert bike trips, hut to hut trips or clinics for youth/adult. Bicycling adventures may be customized to fit the experience level and preferences of the clients. Photography documentation of the trip is also available.
Surfing
Surfing in Nosara, Costa Rica in Playa Guiones where the air is warm for an excellent place for beginners and intermediate surfers. Ten minutes down the road at Playa Ostional is the designated area for more experienced surfers. Additional surfing destinations include Playa Cambutal, Panama and Las Flores, El Salvador. Skiing, Snowboarding and Snowmobiling

Choose from resort locations including Aspen Highlands, Aspen, Snowmass and Buttermilk with terrain suitable for all levels of expertise. Untracked runs and gladed runs await on Rabbit Ears Pass or on the Flattop Mountains. You may also choose Silverton Mountain in the San Juan Mountains for a historic tour of the old mining town.
