Online tutor

There are always college and high school students who are in need of tutoring services. One of the better paying online jobs for college students is to become a tutor and help people with subjects they’re struggling with. All that you need to do for this position is to choose a subject that you know about and excel in. There are several reputable companies that hire online tutors, or you could advertise on your own. Online tutors make between $15 and $20 per hour and it’s something that can be done in your spare time, when you’re not busy with your own studies.

Freelance writer

If you have an aptitude for writing, you can sign up with a few online companies that hire ghost writers. Some pay better than others so it pays to compare them side by side to see which are the most beneficial. Companies such as HireWriters.com pay out every friday via PayPal. Others pay every two weeks or monthly. Nearly all of them require you to take a writing test to make sure that you have the ability to provide high quality writing for their clients. There are many college students who take advantage of this convenient online work that keeps a steady flow of cash coming in.

Blogger

Blogging can be an interesting and even fun way to make money online. If you like writing and there are topics that you know very well and have an opinion about, you can start your own blog and end up making money from it. There are a few requirements for this though. First, you must be able to write, second you need to be passionate about the topic you’re blogging about and third, you’ll need patience because it can take a little while to start earning from your blog. A blog is a great way to advertise any goods or freelance services that you have to offer. You can also earn money with blogging through sponsorship and brand deals.

Search Engine Evaluator

As a search engine evaluator you spend time on the internet conducting research and providing feedback about search engine results. Your job is to evaluate how well a search engine does its intended job. Some companies that hire search engine evaluators for online work are Appen and Leapforce with a starting pay of about $14 per hour. You can do it full or part time, depending on your schedule.

Website tester

Website testers are people who simply visit websites or applications, then perform a series of tasks and submit a review about your experience. Some ask for written reviews and others want you to record a video review, which is easy if you have a webcam on your pc or laptop. For each 20 minute video review of someone else’s website, companies such as UserTesting will pay you $10. Userfeel also hires web testers adn pay $10 for video reviews between 10 to 20 minutes. It’s a great way to earn some extra cash.

Sell items online

Virtual assistant

You don’t need to have a degree to get an online job as a virtual assistant. Virtual assistants work online remotely. You can do this all online and earn between $10 and $15 per hour when you’re just starting out. Virtual assistants who are more experienced can earn up to $35 per hour for their work. Online survey taker

There are hundreds of online survey companies who are willing to pay you to give your opinion about products, services and other things of importance. These jobs are for people who are at least 18 years of age and who have a reliable computer or laptop and an internet connection. You don’t need any skills or special training to earn a few bucks on the side as an online survey taker. Graphic Designer jobs online are for people who are currently studying graphic design, or for those who have an interest in learning about it. Video editor

Online video editors assist with the creation and fine tuning of videos for clients with the majority being made for streaming on YouTube or other similar sites. Video editors perfect both amateur as well as professional videos to make them high quality prior to streaming. VEs make up to $45,000 per year.

It seems like more and more people are live streaming and getting on YouTube these days. While creating videos looks easy, it can be quite a challenge especially when it comes to the editing process.
