His philosophy overview

While the casual observer may not realize that Stephen Curry has ever struggled to play the sport of basketball, he knows better. He knows that competing with the bests athletes is the best way to continue improving your game. Practicing alone is also necessary but if you want to get sharper, it’s vital to play against someone that is as good as you are or better. You have to set high expectations of yourself, and then rise up to meet them. You have to take for granted that everyone else is watching you with the highest of expectations and you have to use the power of your mind to go where you need to go and to get where you need to be. Never forget to count your blessings and don’t dwell on any misfortunes. Focus on what you have and what you can do and if people underrate or criticize you, don’t let it matter or distract you.

Final thoughts

Stephen Curry is one of the best basketball players in the NBA. At the age of 30 he’s already worth a whopping $90 million and if he continues on his current trajectory, that figure is only going to increase. He’s made his fortune strictly through NBA Basketball. He hasn’t had time for anything else, but he doesn’t need to pursue other ventures either. He’s earned a top ranking position in the league at a young age and he’s not showing any signs that it will change soon.
