Some are coming out with some pretty hot enhancements while others are livening up their beauties with improved technologies. Here is what we were able to find out about what is coming down the road for 2018.

2018 Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti has taken the discontinued as of 2015 Veyron and done something special. The resurrected 2018 will have the appearance of the Souveraine sort 41 as a distant relative may have recognizable features but it will appear with metal finishing around the edges. It will easily be among the most lavish on the interior featuring seats of calfskin trim high end ventilating, a high end stereo system and all of the luxury accessories you can pile into a top performing racing car. Its quad turbo eight liter V16 engine will top speeds of 250 mph, pushed by the 1,000 horsepower that the engine supplies. The new manual transmission is a double grasp seven pace and the four wheel drive is a nice addition as well, but don’t count on fuel efficiency. The new Veyron is expected to be available in early 2018 with a price tag of $1.3 million.

2018 McLaren P14 (AKA 720S)

McLaren’s 650S is being asked to pull over to allow the new 2018 P14 to gracefully pass. Spy shots have confirmed that the new supercar is going to sport LED headlights with a sharper form and an overall sleek design featuring ir channeling pods to the sides for the appearance of a raging racer. The prototype did appear to be on the unfinished side but it gave us a glimpse of what we should expect to see in the finished product. It has all of the earmarks of being an aerodynamic dream with rumors suggesting that mono cell carbon fiber tub technology is being used with an active radical aerodynamic strategy. The onboard tech will be updated to include an intuitive control system. It will be powered by a twin turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 with up to 700 horsepower. Although not officially confirmed, it is expected that the new P14 will make its appearance at the Geneva Motor show and will be available on the market in early 2018. The estimated price for the P14 is set at $300,000.

2018 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

The new Lambo Roadster was recently road tested and spies weren’t able to tell much about the exterior but we have enough information to make some educated guesses. We believe that the new edition will feature a 710 hp engine. We’re assuming that it will be powered by a 6.5 liter V12. The ISR or Independent Shifting rod will most likely be the tranny of choice. We were able to discern that the rear fascia sports a three tip exhaust system. This is a departure from the dual tip of the previous model. We also saw the addition of more air vents and a diffuser. Although no news has been confirmed on the interior, we’re expecting an update for the technology system and perhaps a few enhancements for the trimming in the cabin. There isn’t so much as a peep about the price but we’ll keep you informed as we hear more.

2018 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

The new Vantage has been redesigned to perform at a higher level than previous editions. The first change is a loss of between two hundred and fifty to three hundred pounds of weight. We also expect to find an updated instrument panel and tech system with possibly a few changes to the cabin design. We should see more similarity to the DB11 model both on the interior and the exterior. The Vantage is lower to the ground and it is a bit wider in the rear which is aesthetically pleasing. The engine will be a t liter twin turbocharged V8 of the AMG persuasion inspired by the AMG GT. We don’t think we’re going to see a manual offering as Aston Martin is likely to stick with an automatic for the Vantage. It is unknown when the release date is going to be and although no confirmation has been made about the price, it is expected to start at $100,000 and cap at the fully optimized version for around $250,000.

2018 Bugatti Chiron

Bugatti has managed to improve on the new Chiron for 2018. If you thought that the previous models were fast and furious, wait til the new edition hits the road. The car maker has designed the 2018 version for even more speed and higher performance. With a price tag of $2.6 million, it is not only the most expensive, but also the fastest car in the world. Only five hundred have been commissioned throughout the eight year period of its production with two hundred already sold. It will tear up the road with a powerful quad turbocharged V16 engine sporting 1500 horsepower. It will easily do zero to sixty mph in 2.5 seconds or less with a top speed of 288 mph.

2018 McLaren 688 HS

England’s McLaren is gearing up for the debut of their new 688HS with an extreme new car that will deliver top speeds of around 203 mph. The 688HS has been kept a secret, but confirmation of rumors has given us a little more to go on. We’ll see an upgraded beefed up powertrain delivering 678 horsepower from the V8 engine that will move the car from zero to sixty in 2.8 seconds. It is likely to be the most expensive Very Series produced yet with an estimated price tag of $500,000. It is suspected that only two hundred examples of the auto will be produced. We’re hoping to learn more about it as development moves forward.

2018 McLaren P16

Yet another supercar is being plotted by the secretive McLaren Automaker. The P16 will be inspired by the earlier P1 adn 12C editions and the plan is to utilize the 3.8 liter V8 powertrain in this model as well. Our sources tell us that the twin turbocharged engine should deliver around 640 in horsepower with a sprint from zero to sixty in a little under three seconds. The car will be an improved version of the 650 Spider fully updated and upgraded in most aspects. The rumor has it that there are plans to deliver the sports car in a few different versions to offer a wider variety. We know that McLaren already has plans for an annual new release of the car. The expected release date is late 2017 with a price of $275,000.

2018 Mercedes AMG GT-R

Announced at the Goodwood Festival of speed, the new AMG GT-R will hit the road in 2018 powered with a DOHC 4.0 liter twin turbocharged V8 that delivers 577 hp. It will achieve a top speed of 198 mph. This is the newest edition with a redesign that is both aesthetically pleasing and high on performance and power. Nobody is talking about the price yet, but when we consider that the S series which is a ways down on the food chain starts at $130,000, we’re imagining that it will be considerably more. It is expected to be released in late 2017 for all interested parties.

2018 Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Maybach Guard

The new Pullman Maybach Guard is a bulletproof car that features a long wheelbase and spaciousness in the cabin. The rumor is that the new edition will add yet more space for incredible luxury and comfort. What we currently know is that the armor is the same as previous models with class VR 9 protection. The body panels and chassis of the new model are reinforced with steel, polycarbonate plates and a Kevlar like fabric. The engine will be a V23 6 liter twin turbocharged beast with 530 hp and 612 lb ft of torque. It will do zero to sixty in approximately 8 seconds with a max speed of 99 mph because of its immense weight. Performance isn’t the intended function of this armored car. The underside is also steel plated as an additional safety feature. The retail price is estimated to be $600,000. The release date has not yet been determined.

2018 Ferrari 488 GTB

The Ferrari 488 GTB is coming into 2018 with the classic Ferrari design but in a renewed version. The supercar will offer spectators a revolutionary design and a brand new sound. It will also feature a brand new engine and a ton of options. Improvements in the warmth function will enhance the heater function which is a definite improvement. The new spoiler design will add an extra aerodynamic boost for greater speed achievement. The fender has been redesigned so we’re going to see a bit of a new look perhaps a little more fierce and resembling that of a road warrior. There will be a faint likeness to the 458 Croatia. We’ll see a 3.9 liter V8 engine that will generate a top speed of 205 mph with a two clutch process automatic transmission. The release date is anticipated to be in the summer of 2017 with a price tag of just under $250,000.
