While I have had to part ways with Chick-fil-A after adopting a more healthy lifestyle, I cannot deny that I was once one of the diehard fans of the fast food chicken eatery. The unique way that the company prepares and serve chicken has made it one of the top favorites among fast-food eaters. All you have to do is drive by one and observe the long drive through lines. There are others who also love the culture and the way it treats its employees.
What I bet you didn’t know was that there is a secret menu for Chick-fil-A. We are going to reveal some of the items that are on the menu so that you can quietly order them the next time you drop in.
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
First up is the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which is the restaurant’s version of the spicy chicken sandwich served by other restaurants. This is a huge sell for residents in the south who have to have everything spicy and hot. So the next time that you are in, check it out.
Chicken, Egg & Cheese Biscuit
I bet that when you are thinking about breakfast sandwiches, chicken is not on your mind; however, Chick-fil-A has gambled that there are some people out there who would love to have a chicken egg and cheese biscuit. Don’t knock it until you have tried it.
Spicy Chicken, Egg & Cheese Bagel
This is a unique combination. While there is no limit to how you can prepare and serve a bagel. It is a pretty safe bet that you have never seen a spicy chicken and egg bagel. Well, stop by Chick-fil-A and check it out. Be sure to email me and tell me how you like it.
Fried Chicken Club
The Fried Chicken Club is actually the fried version of the grilled chicken sandwich that is so popular at Chick-fil-A. The chain has added a unique twist to a classic that will definitely tickle your taste buds.
Chicken on Anything at Breakfast
Well, you cannot get mad at a fast-food chain that specializes in chicken for offering the option to add chicken to anything on the menu. Basically, this option allows guests to customize any breakfast sandwich on the menu by simply adding chicken.
Bacon on Anything at Breakfast
For those who refuse to abandon tradition and just have to have bacon in order to feel like they are eating a complete breakfast, Chick-fil-A has you covered. The same rules that apply to the chicken on anything option applies here. You can add bacon to anything on the breakfast menu. You can actually get pretty creative with this. How about a bacon and hashbrown burrito?
This Spicy Char sandwich actually has me thinking that I may be able to swing a visit or two during the month. This is a grilled version of the spicy chicken sandwich. The chargrilled chicken patty comes on a wheat bun with lettuce, tomatoes, and you can add bacon if you like. It is important to note that this selection may not be available at all locations, so you might have to check around to find it.
I am not sure if this is like the grilled cheese sandwiches we used to make as kids, but if it is even close, I have to try it at least once. For the vegetarian, the grilled cheese sandwich is one way to still get a decent dose of protein without the meat. You have the sandwich dressed up any way you like.
If you have tasted the famous lemonade at Chick-fil-A, then you can’t help but wonder what the strawberry lemonade will taste like. For those of you attempting to monitor your sugar intake, this is probably not a good selection. The stuff is sweet.
Root Beer Float
Okay, this is a super dose of nostalgia — at least for some. There are not too many indulgences that can measure up to a well-made root beer float. The float is made with root beer and vanilla ice cream. You can even add a cookie for good measure. Again, this comes with a sugar overload, so be careful.
Chocolate Cookies & Cream Milkshake
Do I even need to describe or explain what we are getting into here? Instead of using vanilla for your milkshake, throw a couple of scoops of cookies and cream and add some chocolate syrup.
As you can see, Chick-fil-A has been holding out on you. But you have the 411, so go in and surprise them with your secret order.
