The company was founded in August 2007 by Nathaniel Rue, Johnathan Neman, and Nicolas Jammet, according to Sweetgreen. All three of them had met while studying at Georgetown University at the McDonough School of Business.

Its beginnings

As more and more people have begun to adopt a vegan or plant-based diet lifestyle, salads have become the go-to condiment to put this into place.
