What We Know about the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is easily one of the most stunning automobiles anyone has ever seen. It incorporates all of the classic Porsche lines into its design, yet it manages to look like something brand new, even untested, all at the same time. It takes a lot of effort to pull something like this off, but perhaps that is what everyone has come to expect of an automobile manufacturer like Porsche. After all, this car isn’t exactly your daily driver, at least not for the overwhelming majority of the public. F it is, thank your lucky stars that you get the chance to drive something this exceptional each and every day.

While this car does have the classic look of a Porsche, there are definitely some key differences between this model and virtually everything else. The first thing you might notice about this care is that it features air ducts in the hood to go along with a redesigned front grill. This is likely to get your attention right away, as the engine is in the back of the car since it is a Porsche. What, then, is the reason for the air ducts? It’s largely suspected that they were placed there to direct cooling ai to the brakes. This helps to keep them operating perfectly even when the car is really being pushed and the brakes are starting to heat up, because there is a constant flow of cool air surrounding them.

Porsche also decided to change the rear spoiler on the car, making it more functional as far as aerodynamics are concerned. The new design is there to help keep the care planted firmly on the ground, even during some of the most extreme cornering maneuvers. In addition to the rear spoiler, the care sits exceptionally low to the ground. This also helps it corner more efficiently. The overall design keeps the car in contact with the road in situations where most other automobiles would break loose. In addition, the handling is far superior to most other cars. It incorporates a near-perfect match of responsiveness and control, something that very few car makers ever manage to accomplish.

Make no mistake about it, Porsche didn’t go to all of this work just to leave the horsepower at the same level as on earlier models. Instead, they have decided to increase the available horsepower provided by their 4.0 liter, six-cylinder engine. It now produces a whopping 520 horsepower, more than enough to get your blood pumping. More importantly, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 in a mere 3.2 seconds. This is practically enough to set your hair on fire, but thanks to its outstanding handling capabilities, the car can handle just about anything you decide to throw at it.

Aside from its massive horsepower, one of the things that makes this car so fast is its lightweight design. In fact, this car is much lighter than its predecessors, allowing Porsche to take full advantage of the available horsepower provided by its engine. Of course, the interior of the car features all of the amenities that Porsche drivers have come to love and expect. In virtually every sense, this is a car that is far superior to almost everything else on the road.

It’s important to note that the car hasn’t even officially debited yet, as it is not scheduled to be revealed to the general public for about another month. Despite that fact, people are already clamoring to get as much information as they can about it, especially after seeing some photographs of the prototype. The car will eventually go on sale in the spring. You can bet that people will be placing orders for this automobile long before it even rolls out. This is one of the most exciting new cars to come along in quite some time. Those who already about the performance capability and high quality of Porsche automobiles will understandably want to get their hands on one. When you really stop and think about it, who wouldn’t want to have an opportunity to drive a car like this? It truly is a driving experience like nothing else, and it’s one that you will never forget once you do it.
