It was destined to become a fine collectible due to its rarity from the moment of its release. The watch was produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Copperstate 1000 in 2020. Inspired by the Coppa Intereuropa race at Monza from 1949 through 1964, the design pays tribute to the Italian Grand Prix and the sporting coupes that competed for the grand prize. The case is made of stainless steel with a 39mm diameter in a polished finish. The dial features a copper background with a minimalist design and the 30-year Copperstate 1000 name in red at the 6 o'clock position with copper hands outlined in black for a lovely contrast and high legibility, delivered in a steering wheel design with a multi-layered aesthetic and K1 glass chapter ring. The watch is powered with a Swiss-made ETA 7001 manual winding movement, protected by a sapphire crystal lens. This timepiece is the first automatic chronograph made by Autodromo, in its re-released special edition variant. The movement is a Seiko NE88 automatic column-wheel chronograph movement with three subdials displaying the functions of the chronograph in a cluster at the center of the dial. The case back is an exhibition type that reveals a lovely view of the inner workings of the mechanical movement beneath, made of a flat sapphire crystal.
