His family is famous

David Arquette was born on September 8, 1971 in Virginia. His dad Lewis was an actor. His mom Brenda worked as an actor, poet, acting teacher, and therapist. David is one of 5 of Lewis and Brenda's children including Roasanna, Patricia, Alexis, and Richmond. Lewis worked in theater and television including the hit television series The Waltons. Brenda was successful acting in film during the 1960's. David's siblings have all followed their parents' career path. Rosanna is an actress, director and producer who starred in Pulp Fiction and Desperately Seeking Susan. Patricia starred in True Romance and Wildfire and many more films. Alexis appeared in The Tube's music video "She's a Beauty" and in the movie Last Exit to Brooklyn. Richmond starred in Made of Honor and The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons.

David Arquette has regularly appeared in television shows since 1990 and continues to act in television. In 1990 Arquette starred in 13 episodes of The Outsiders series. He also had roles in Parenthood from 1990 through 1991 in 12 episodes. Between 1992 and 1994 Arquette appeared as a guest star in episodes of Blossom, Beverly Hills 90210, and Rebel Highway. In 1995 Arquette appeared in 13 episodes of the television series Double Rush. In 1996 David Arquette had a role in the miniseries Dead Man's Walk and appeared in an episode of Friends as Phoebe's stalker. In 1998 and 1999 Arquette appeared in episodes of Penn and Teller's series and in The Hughleys. He voiced a character on the television series Pelswick from 2000 to 2002. Not long after launching his television career, David Arquette began acting in film. These independent films, short films, and mainstream films. Arquette also served as a producer on several of his films. Arquette would act steadily in film. In 1992 Arquette was in Where the Day Takes You and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In 1993 he was in Grey Knight. In 1994 he was in Road Racers and Frank and Jesse. The following year he was in Fall Time and Wild Bill. 1996 was a big year for David Arquette. He was cast in Beautiful Girls, Skin and Bones, and as Deputy Dewey Riley in the hit film Scream where he starred with his future wife actress Courtney Cox. In 1997 Arquette appeared in Scream 2. He won the Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Actor. In 1999 Arquette was in Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore. Arquette won the Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Supporting Actor for the role. 2000 brought Arquette another Scream sequel. The following year he was in 3,000 Miles to Graceland. Over the next few years Arquette appeared in Eight Legged Freaks, Stealing Sinatra, Never Die Alone, and Slingshot. In 2006 David Arquette directed The Tripper. In 2008 David Arquette was in Hamlet 2. He reprised his role as Detective Dewey Riley in 2011's Scream 4. Over the next few years, David Arquette had roles in The Cottage, Just Before I Go (which he starred in and produced), Orion, and Amanda and Jake Go Glampy. He won an award from the Deep Heart Film Festival for Best Actor in a Feature Film for that role. In 2018 David Arquette had a role in High Voltage. The following year, he appeared in Mob Town. David Arquette is a parttern in the exclusive Los Angeles nightclub Bootsy Bellows, named after his mom's stage name when she was a burlesque dancer. David Arquette enjoys painting and is actually a certified Bob Ross Instructor, certified in landscape painting technique. In 2021 David Arquette purchased the rights to "Bozo the Clown" and hopes to revive the favorite clown character.

Wrestling

David Arquette began a wrestling career in 2000. He filmed the World Championship Wrestling movie Ready to Rumble that year. He ended up winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship which he only appeared in twice for "Comic Relief". Arquette made money off of his wrestling career despite only holding the title for 10 days.

Personal Life

David Arquette met actress Courtney Cox on the set of the film Scream. The couple married at the height of Cox's Friends fame on June 12, 1999. They have a daughter Coco who was born in 2004. Cox's Friends' costar, Jennifer Aniston is Coco's godmother. Unfortunately, the couple separated in 2010 and divorced in 2012. Arquette started dating Entertainment Tonight correspondent Christina McLarty in 2011. They married in 2015 and have two sons.
