Thousands of fans opt to watch the games from home because they believe that it’s too expensive to see them live, but that’s not really the case. It’s actually quite affordable. We’ve broken down the costs of attending a game at AT&T Center in San Antonio including the parking, cost of tickets and concession prices and we were truly amazed at how little you really have to spend to have a great time.
The ticket prices aren’t bad
According to the statistics, the average fan at a Spurs game pays $62 for a ticket to sit in the 407 upper-level section. There are lower level seats available if you prefer to be closer to the action and the price range is between $91 and it can go all the way up to $1,945 depending on how close you want to be to the court and how much you are really willing to pay. This is one of the cool things about the structure for ticket sales. We’ve seen prices as low as $7 and $22 for entrance into some games. Granted, the seats aren’t that great at the lower prices, but for $62 you can see the action and have an enjoyable time. The center has a total capacity for 18,000 fans and the energy that you experience at a live game is something that is unforgettable.
Parking is actually reasonable
The cost of parking to see the Spurs play is affordable as well. There are actually quite a few options. The parking area at AT&T Center offers your choice of several lots that take up an entire block and are close to the game. The NorthEast Lot 4 offers close parking spaces for just $37 which is a much lower price than most major stadiums chare. Lot one offers parking spots from $26, and Lot 6 offers spaces that start at just $10 for event parking. You can also reserve parking in advance, but most people just make sure that they leave early before the lots fill up. Of course, there are also parking options a few blocks away from the game, or you could park a few miles away and ride the shuttle. The average Spurs fan pays $26 for the convenience of parking close to the game.
Concession prices aren’t that bad either
When you’re having a good time and enjoying the game, it takes energy as a fan to cheer and yell for your team. You’re going to get thirsty and probably hungry as well. Especially when you smell the wonderful foods that are offered by the vendors at the concessions stands. AT& T center. Any stadium or center in the country that sells concessions is going to be more expensive than your average fast food joint around the corner, but the prices aren’t so expensive that you can’t afford to enjoy a great snack or meal at the stadium for a reasonable cost. If you want to grab a snack of brisket nachos, a turkey sandwich, a burger or some other tasty fare, you can do so for between $8 and $15 which isn’t really that bad. Plan on spending around $10 for a beer unless you’re there for a $1 rampage event on a special Friday. The average fan will splurge a little and spend around $30 on concessions.

If this is more than you want to pay you could cut back on parking by going with the $10 parking space or even reduce this to $5 by splitting parking with a buddy. You can still enjoy a nice meal and a beverage for under $20 and you can even go with a cheaper ticket and get in for as little as $22 for a total expense of just $47.
