Reddit proclaims itself to be the internet's front page that offers content for virtually everyone out there. It's difficult to find a subject that isn't covered on the site, whether its a more obscure topic, mainstream or a niche topic. It's almost a certainty that you'll find a subreddit along with a full community of subscribers to share with. There are so many different subreddits out there that it can be tough to sift through all of the subjects that exist to get to what you're really looking for. The most popular subreddits give us an idea of what's currently trending and the kinds of things that the majority of people are interested in at any given point in time. Here are the top 20 subreddits on all of Reddit.

20. Futurology

There are a lot of people who enjoy reading about technology, but they're not really interested in what's going on with the latest business figures, how much the big tech companies are making or the most recent drama taking place. rFuturology takes all of the stuff that is boring to the adventurous dreamers who want to know about the nuts and bolts of the bod new technologies that are currently being developed. rFuturology features some really cool information on topics such as gene therapy, transhumanism, exoskeletons, biohacking, space travel, and this is just the beginning.

19. MemeEconomy

This subreddit is one of the most hilarious if you're into finance, buying, selling or trading stocks, but you also have a great sense of humor. There's a huge amount of jokes and humor, but behind the humor and the satire, there are some great threads for social commentary going on here. The memes which try to make the most accurate predictions about which memes will go by the wayside or gain in popularity are patterned after the activities that you would see on the trading floor.

18. SubredditSimulator

This is an extremely entertaining subreddit, but it's a bit on the odd side. The whole of this sub is run by bots. Markov chains are used for the generation of text-based posts adn comments. What makes this site so fascinating? It's because what makes it operate is a set of algorithms that do their best to mimic the more popular posts that appear across the whole of Reddit. It's one of the funniest subreddits we've seen so far. We're thinking that this subreddit is taking a poke at AI, but we could be mistaken.

17. Nonononoyes

If you read this carefully you'll see that it includes four no's and a yes. This is a subreddit where people post tons of clips about moments in time when things are going as wrong as possible. 16. ReverseAnimalRescue

This is another extremely popular subreddit that is oriented towards the entire family. It's great for people of all ages. The central theme is an animal rescue in reverse. The humans in these clips are not the villains that they appear to be. They're really heroes, but when you play the clip in reverse, as is the case with these, it looks like the rescuers are the ones causing the problems to begin with. It's going to be important to keep in mind, however, that these are reversals because some of the clips are disturbing when viewed in reverse.

15. Listentothis

This is a subreddit that is great for music lovers who enjoy finding compositions that are a little off the traditional path.
