The Glamour Double Date case

The case is a round shape 42mm in diameter made of steel with a brightly polished finish. The case back is an open style that is enhanced with a sapphire crystal to show off the masterpiece of the internal workings of the timepiece. The bezel is a double style made of steel and yellow gold and features a shiny polished finish. The winding crown is a screw down type in a yellow gold and embellished with the Tudor logo as a fine detail that catches the eyes upon closer inspection. The Tudor Glamour Double Date is available in variants displaying stainless steel or stainless steel and yellow gold cases and embellishments

The dial

The dial is available in a silver, black or champagne background. The Indexes are applied batons with Lume on the hands to enhance visibility in low light situations. The Silver version features gold plated hour markers along with 11 diamonds, and a sub- small seconds at the 6 o’clock position and the large date in a double window placed at the 12 o’clock position. A range of variants is available in the new Tudor Glamour Double Date which includes a two-tone stainless steel with a yellow gold case.

The movement

The movement and its glorious complications are elegantly displayed through the clear sapphire crystal case back. The Tudor Glamour Double Date is powered with a 32 jewels caliber MT5641 Tudor in-house self-winding movement. The size of the caliber is 33.8mm in diameter and 7.41mm in thickness. It is an automatic with bidirectional rotor system at a frequency of 4 Hz at 28,800 vph and it is COSC Chronometer Certified. Other details of the movement include variable inertia balance and a non-magnetic silicon balance spring. The functions are hours, minutes, seconds and big date. The power reserve is approximately 70 hours and this watch is waterproof up to three hundred and thirty feet. The glass is a domed sapphire crystal.

Other features of the new Tudor Glamour Double Date

This unique wristwatch is available in a variety of combinations for the strap, the dial, and the materials. The straps are available in leather with folding buckles or metal bracelets that match the case of the watch. There is an example that comes in a two-tone stainless steel and yellow case, silver-tone case, dials in silver, champagne, black or opaline, and the dials are also available with or without diamonds for the hour markers.

Affordable luxury

There is no doubt that the Tudor Glamour Double Date has all the attributes of a high-end luxury watch but this isn’t reflected in the rate moderate pricing of these watches. The price starts at $3,200 for the steel on a leather strap version. The two-tone example on leather strap is priced at $3,675. The two-tone with the metal bracelet version is $4,425 and you can add the dials that feature the diamond hour markers for an additional $725. Tudor has made this collection of the Tudor Glamour Double Date watch family available throughout the entire world. It will be made available in the United States with deliveries starting early in 2019, but upon special request only.
