The resort has 116 luxurious guest rooms. Guests can enjoy the one quarter mile of shoreline of the lake as well as the marina and water activities.

The romantic and historic Grand Avenue Bed and Breakfast is located in Carthage. The Queen Anne Victorian style home was built in 1863. It features a wrap around porch and nineteenth century architecture. Today the renovated bed and breakfast is filled with nineteenth century antiques.

There are five fully appointed and uniquely decorated guest rooms, each named for an author. These include Laura Ingalls Wilder, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Mark Twain, E.B. White, and Louisa May Alcott. The Grand Avenue Bed and Breakfast hosts exciting murder mystery tours.

Springfield's Walnut Street Inn Bed and Breakfast is a historic Queen Anne Victorian home originally built in the 1890's. The original owners were the McCann family who loved to entertain. The next owners were the Jewell family. The home was renovated into a bed and breakfast in the late 1980's.

Today there is a main house, carriage house, and cottage house. The Inn has 12 guest rooms in the main house and carriage house, each with charming Victorian style and cozy comfort as well as modern amenities. Breakfast is served each morning a delicious breakfast is served in the main house.

Originally there were two hotels on the site but they burned down in 1898 and 1910. The current Elms Hotel was built in 1912. The Hotel underwent a $20 million renovation. Today it offers high end accommodations, luxury amenities, beautiful gardens, and a first class spa. The Spa is called The Grotto and is a modernized version of a Roman Bath. The Spa has dry and steam saunas, cold plunge and steam showers, hot tubs, and an exfoliation bar.

The rooms at the Inn are charming and luxurious. The "Champagne Room" features wood burning fireplaces in the bedroom and bathroom where there's an overside shower and deep soaking tub.
