Sandy Kemper is the co-founder and CEO of the C2FO company, that has recently achieved Unicorn status. The successful business executive has a long track history of proven success in executive leadership. He is an interesting entrepreneur and leader and we wanted to learn more about him and how he has come to be so very successful in the business world. When looking into his past along with his personal life and his career history, we made interesting discoveries about him that we’d like to share. Here are 10 things about Sandy Kemper that you probably didn’t know.

1. His Birthday

Sandy Kemper was born on June 18th of 1965. As of the summer of 2019, he was 54 years old. He was born in Chicago Illinois, but this isn’t where he was raised. Sandy was adopted by Mary and R. Crosby Kemper Jr. and they raised him in Kansas City. His given name at birth was Alexander Sandy Kemper. He chose to go by Sandy.

2. Sandy has founded several businesses

Before co-founding C2FO, Sandy Kemper had already established several other businesses. the founded Agriculture Future of America, Education, Inc., Perfect Commerce which was previously known as eScout, and The Collector’s Fund.When it comes to creating a startup company and getting it off the ground he knows very well what he is doing.

3. His opinions are highly valued

Sandy Kemper has years of business experience and to go with this he has a proven track record of success. His opinions are highly valued by companies because of his knowledge of the business world and strategic planning for growth. He sits on several boards of directors including as chair at Agriculture Future of America, Global Trading Web Association, and currently, he is the chairman of the board at C2FO.

4. Sandy Kemper has received recognition for his contributions

Kemper is one of the top bankers in America and if you don’t believe it, American Banker named him as their “Top banker in the US.” Sandy’s name has been mentioned in several prominent publications for his outstanding skills as an entrepreneur and as a leader in teh business community. Some of them include National Public Radio and The Financial Times, CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and others. He has earned a solid reputation in the financial and business arena for his accomplishments.

5. Sandy is a big supporter of The Arts

Sandy Kemper is a strong believer in supporting The Arts in America. He takes an active interest in helping young local artists through a special fund. He and a partner co-founded The Collectors Fund which is the very first art fund in the country. He is also the creator of The Kansas City Collection program and he also manages the American Masters Collection as well as the Twentieth Century Masters Collection which are investment funds that feature more than a hundred businesses and families as members throughout the nation. Members of the fund are allowed to display museum-quality art on the walls of their homes for periods with a rotational schedule.

6. He has a bachelor’s degree

Sandy Kemper attended the Phillips Academy in Andover Massachusetts. He was also accepted at Northwestern University where he studied American History. He began classes in 1983 and earned his bachelor of arts degree in 1987.

7. He is bilingual

When we were researching to learn more about Sandy Kemper, we found some very interesting information about him on his LinkedIn page. He speaks three languages. In addition to speaking his native American English, he also speaks French and Spanish. This likely comes in handy when it comes to dealing with international contacts who come from countries that speak these languages.

8. Sandy is a multi-talented professional

We also learned that Sandy Kemper has multiple endorsements for a great many business skills that he possesses. He is still active, as well as being a mover and shaker as the CEO of C2FO. He received what is perhaps one of the highest compliments that a leader can be paid by being named as one of the most powerful people within the business circles of the Kansas City area. He was included in the 2018 Power 100- A guide to the most powerful people in Kansas City business circles. This was an honor and a distinction.

10. He’s still taking on more

Sandy Kemper is still going strong when it comes to his business endeavors. He is only 54 and likely has many good years ahead of him. It wouldn’t be surprising if he establishes a few more startups as well. In 2018, he took on yet another responsibility by joining Dwolla’s board of directors. The company is located in the midwest and it creates and builds innovative technology. As a native of the region, and because of his intense interest in this industry, he was happy to accept his appointment to the post. He’s a dynamic leader who has a lot of good advice to give to the companies, businesses, and organizations with which he associates and his input is in high demand.
