How Much Does it Cost to Attend a Miami Dolphins Game?

How much should you expect to spend if you want to go see a Miami Dolphins game? There are several things that might influence your decision here. First and foremost, you might be thinking that since the Dolphins play in the NFL, the ticket prices will simply be out of reach for the everyday, blue-collar fan. In addition, the team is fairly popular, so that will undoubtedly figure into your decision as well.

The good news is that not all NFL teams charge so much money for seats that only the very rich can afford to go to a game. As a matter of fact, there are many stadiums that work hard to make sure that their fans have the opportunity to attend a game even if they don't make a ton of money, and the Miami Dolphins just happen to play at one of those stadiums. Therefore, you can experience a game without spending so much money that you are forced to spend the rest of the year working extra shifts to pay for it all. In order to get a better outlook on things, it’s important to explore the cost of tickets, as well as how much it is likely to cost you for other things such as food and drink, parking, and other things.

Tickets Are Affordable for Most Fans

You’ll be happy to know that you can usually buy tickets for a rock bottom price of $16. Of course, you can pay more, too. If you really want to buy a first-class ticket in order to get a crack at a first-class seat, you can spend just about as much money as you wish, but it’s nice to know that you don’t have to. If you’re trying to enjoy a game on a tight budget, that $16 might not get you the best seat in the house, but it will get you to the game. If that’s your goal, then you know you can at least pay for the price of a ticket without going into the poor house. Your seats are likely to be in the nosebleed section, but with all of the jumbo television screens that appear at stadiums these days, that’s not nearly as much of a big deal today as it used to be.

Do You Want to Eat?

It seems like there’s never really enough money for the concession stand. After all, the stadium has to make up for those cheap tickets somewhere. While they do exactly that by selling seats that cost a lot more, they also absorb some of the loss by charging more money at the concession stand, as well as charging more for souvenirs. This is probably something you’ve come to expect, as concession stands all over the world seem to charge more than they really need to. You can choose to buy food and something to drink, as well as purchase a souvenir or two, but you certainly don’t have to. It all depends on how much money you feel like you can comfortably afford to spend. If you really want to enjoy the day and make it an experience, go ahead and put away some extra money. $25 will get you some food. If you want souvenirs, you probably need to set aside as much as $100.

Other Expenses

It’s always important to include things like transportation costs. This is where you would include things like parking, which by the way, will cost you about $30. However, it's also important to include things like the amount of fuel that you'll be using in order to get there. This will give you a better idea of the total cost involved. If you're worried about dealing with all of the game day traffic, you might decide to just forgo driving to the stadium and take public transportation. It really depends on how far away you live and what options are available to you given the distance.

You're probably happy to know that attending a game here isn't as expensive as you might have thought that it would be. Despite that fact, you will still have to save up a certain amount of money in order to enjoy it. In reality, if you can put back $100 per person you should have more than enough to enjoy the game, complete with refreshments and maybe even one or two souvenirs. If that's an issue, $50 per person will certainly get you in and get you something to drink, and maybe some even popcorn or something similar.
