The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Isn’t Your Typical Disney Resort

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando is bordered by Shingle Creek, which is the headwaters of the Everglades. It is conveniently located just a 12-minute drive from Disney, and an 11-minute drive from Universal Studios. If you are planning to visit these attractions, this is the perfect hotel for you.

Rooms and Suites


If you are planning to stay in one of the hotel’s many rooms, you have three options. You can choose between a Garden View room, a Lake View room, or a Lake Front room. Each has a beautiful view, and you can take it all in on your own personal walk out balcony. Each of these rooms is 480 square feet and have luxurious layouts. The rooms can sleep up to 4 adults, and has a king or a double bed. You can also get a crib or a rollaway bed upon request.

The beds in the rooms are feather beds and they come complete with a feather duvet. In the bathroom, there is a plush terrycloth robe for each adult. There are a separate marble shower and marble tub, and there is a double lighted vanity. Regardless of which room you choose, you will have an elegant writing desk, an honor bar, and complimentary gourmet coffee and tea and bottled water. For you convenience, there is an in-room safe, 24-hour room service, and turndown service twice a day.

There is a 37 inch HD LCD TV in each room along with an iPod docking station. If you want to watch television in your room, the hotel has cable and satellite TV with premium movie channels. When it comes to WiFi, it will be included in the daily cost of your room. You can also get free internet in public areas of the hotel, such as the lobby, pool, retail corridor, golf clubhouse and all of the restaurants.

If you are going to be needing more space, you should consider staying in one of the suites. They are larger than the rooms and they are much more luxurious.

Executive Suite: This suite has a view of the lakefront, the golf course, and the pool. It is 960 square feet., which it twice as large as the rooms. Other than the size, is is much like the rooms except that it has a powder room. It has a 37 inch HD LCD TV in the master bedroom and a 42 inch HD LCD TV in the living room. This room also has a DVD player. This room has more than turndown service, you will have a housekeeper come into your suite twice a day to clean.

Presidential Suite: This room is 2400 square feet and has a living room, an office, and a master bedroom. There are 3 televisions in the room complete with cable and a satellite TV. It also has a DVD player. It has a spacious bathroom, a powder room, a dining room with a table for 8 people, and 5 personal balconies where you have an amazing view of the lake, the golf course, and the pool. If you are staying in the Presidential Suite during the holidays, you will have a perfect view of the spectacular holiday fireworks.

The Royal Suite: The Royal Suite has huge. There are 2,645 square feet of living space. It has a full media room with soundproof walls, a living room, a dining room, and a powder room. There are 8 persona balconies, each with a gorgeous view. The shower has a rain head, handheld shower, and body spray. There is also a large soaking tub. The bathroom has a personal commode with toilet and bidet. The room as 3 televisions, a 60 inch, a 42 inch, and a 15 inch. There is also surround sound in the media room with a Blu-Ray player.



There are so many dining options in the hotel that you won’t need to leave the hotel for meals. You can eat in any of the following restaurants:

If you want to spend a day of rest and relaxation, there is a 5-star spa in the hotel. There aren’t many spas on Orlando use homegrown herbs in their spas. The honey is produced by the bees at the hotel and the citrus is picked from local orchards. You can also enjoy a zero gravity massage while you lie comfortably in a hammock. The hotel also has a state of the art fitness center so that you can keep up with your workout routine.



If you are a golfer, you will love the hotel’s course. You can also play tennis, go fishing, and kayaking. If you are taking the kids along with you, there are a plenty of kids programs to keep them busy during the day and even at night. You can also go riding or play bocce ball on one of the two outdoor courts. There is so much to do at the hotel for the whole family, you don’t even need to leave the grounds to find fun things to do.
