In 1992, Hatcher was pipped at the post by Helen Hunt for the lead role in the film ‘Mad About You.’ A year later, she made three guest appearances on ‘Seinfeld.’ It wasn’t until 1994 that Hatcher got her breakthrough when she landed the role of Lois Lane in ‘Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.’ The actress played this role until the series ended in 1997. While playing this role, Hatcher also had roles in several movies, including ‘2 Days in the Valley’ and ‘Heaven’s Prisoner.’ After Hatcher’s time playing Lois Lane came to an end, she landed her most significant movie role, as she played Paris Carver in the 1997 James Bond movie ‘Tomorrow Never Dies.’ When Hatcher filmed her scenes for this movie, she was three months pregnant with her daughter.
