The Top Five Rated Hotels in Martha’s Vineyard

Martha’s Vineyard is the third largest island on the east coast of the United States and it is located off the south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. It is commonly referred to simply as ‘the Vineyard’. It is an affluent area and the population swells significantly during the summer months as it is a popular spot for people to have second homes where they spend time during their vacations. 2. Outermost Inn

Outermost Inn is located on the western coast of the island in an elevated position that provides panoramic views from the large windows of the hotel. It is surrounded by meadows and shrubland, so the views are undisturbed and the isolated location allows for a peaceful stay. The spacious room are decorated in an airy yet homely manner and include all the amenities guests could need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is included for guests and is served in the conservatory of the hotel. Guests also have the option of dining in this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Meals are made using fresh, local, seasonal produce and the herbs and vegetables used are supplied from local gardens.

3. Crocker House Inn

These are decorated in a casual style that will make you feel at home while they also provide amenities that will allow you to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Touches of luxury are evident in each room, such as the premium toiletries and the triple sheets on the beds. The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk away from Vineyard Haven, a harborside village. The Steamship Ferry is also within walking distance. 4. Hob Knob

This boutique hotel and spa is almost one hundred years old and manages to combine the splendour of a building of this age with the modern amenities that travellers have come to expect in this day and age. This Gothic Revival inn is located in the picturesque coastal village of Edgartown and is in the perfect position to explore the local museums, galleries, and shops. One of the best features of this hotel is the Rejuvenation Spa where you can enjoy a relaxing massage or try one of the many other treatments available. The staff are extremely attentive and strive to provide the best hospitality possible.

5. Nobnocket Boutique Inn

This historic hotel was built in 1908 and sits on approximately two acres of land, including large lawn areas and woodland. Despite the historic nature of the hotel, the large rooms are decorated in a contemporary style. The rooms include modern facilities and luxury touched including designer linens top-quality toiletries. Communal areas of the hotel include a sitting room with a fireplace, a veranda, a sunroom, a patio and a dining room. A gourmet breakfast is included in a nights’ stay and guests have the option of having this served in their room, on the patio, or in the sunroom. The hotel is located on the edge of the coastal village Vineyard Haven and is less than 15 minutes from the ferry.
