Startup Pitches and Amenity Kits

You will receive an amenity kit from either Porsche Design or Crabtree & Evelyn. This will include a toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, hand cream and other items. Additional perks you receive include complimentary slippers and access to free WiFi onboard. Just keep in mind, if several people are trying to connect, the speed may be somewhat slow. A unique feature of flying Turkish Airlines Business Class is that you can view startup pitches while onboard. It’s called the “Invest on Board” platform. You get to watch pitches from startup entrepreneurs and opt to invest if you like them.

The Eats

Once you get settled into your seat, you will have a Skychef come and serve you whatever drink you choose. You will also receive an individually boxed Godiva chocolate. However, that isn’t all. Just a few minutes later, a flight attendant will provide you with a large plate and hot towel for you to freshen up. You will find there is an extensive list of beverages for you to choose from, including mineral water, soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea. If tea is your choice, then you will find there is a selection of hot and cold options and the menu even provides a breakdown of the benefits offered by each one. You will also be able to choose an alcoholic beverage, if you prefer. With your beverage, you will typically receive some mixed nuts. After the drinks and nuts, you will be able to order a full meal, including appetizer, entrée and dessert. The meal service is an important part of ensuring your experience is a positive one.
