The Beginning Of His Entrepreneurship

It all began back in 2010, when Sagalov, along with his friend Weihan Wang, cofounded together the company AeroFS. The company is also a project management software that is frequently used by businesses. Sagalov acts as the CEO of the company, while Wang acts as the CTO.

You can often see Yuri Sagalov making a presence on social media platforms several times a week, especially via his Twitter account. Yuri Sagalov graduated from the University of Toronto’s elite Engineering Science Program back in the early 2000’s, in which he earned a degree in Computer Engineering. When you are the CEO of a company, it is pretty obvious that you are often bombarded with emails, phone calls, and messages galore 24/7. This is why Yuri devotes thirty minutes to his morning each day to just having time to wake up and take a breather. He even goes so far as to disable his emails on his phone before bed each night so that they don’t interrupt his down time.

Potential Dream Job?

Yuri Sagalov has been stated saying that if he could try out any job for a day, it would be either an airline pilot or a flight attendant. He also says he loves to travel and be in airports, and would love the ability to be able to go to various cities around the world with that career.

A Few Of His Favorite Things

He has also said that he is a big fan of classic rock music when he gets the chance to sit and listen to it while working independently. He also loves to spend his down time going out to dinner with friends to catch up and relax, or even spend a bit of time watching TV when he has the chance. Sagalov seems like just a regular old Joe to us!

He Likes To Work Collaboratively

Although he is obviously very high up within his company as the CEO, he still loves to be collaborative and working with his employees and colleagues in a hands on way. He even has lunch every day with his coworkers at his company, where they dine over catered in meals from various restaurants in the area, and talks about upcoming details for the company.

Big Recent Merger

In recent months, it was announced that AeroFS was going to be merging with Redbooth, which are both collaborative project management tools. The collaboration will still be under the name of Redbooth, and Yuri Sagalov is still set to act as the CEO of the companies through the merger. This will allow for more tools and techniques to be used by businesses everywhere.
