A Closer Look at the Frog Skateboards x Nike SB Blazer

2019 is becoming a season in which the Nike corporation is making hundreds of releases in their latest and most popular sneaker designs. We just learned of their collaboration with Frog Skateboard, reputed for their nonconformist methods and nonchalance. They’ve put their creative genius together to develop the first time effort of the two super icons in the development of the new Frog Skateboards x Nike SB Blazer sneaker. This is perhaps one of the most unique creations we’ve seen from Nike to date and it is deserving of a much closer look and inspection.

The first time for the Frog on a Nike

What stands out immediately when you have your first glance of the new Nike sneaker is the gorgeous tan upper that exudes high quality in materials and workmanship. It has a look of utter sporty sophistication until you get to the rear of the upper closer to the mid where we see the moniker of the frog. This is the first time that Nike has placed a Frog on one of their sneakers in the history of the company and to many it may be a bit off-putting, but to fans of Frog Skateboards, it’s an act of sheer brilliance. This is a sneaker that is created to appeal to a niche audience but it’s bound to be a smashing success in the marketplace.

Description

The Blazer Mid is a sneaker that features a nappy suede for the whole of the upper construction. We see lateral appliques of the Frog Skateboard’s mascot who is looking out from behind the off shaded famed Nike Swoosh. This is what happens when the logos from two iconic brands collide. The sneaker is bound to have a big time appeal when it appears in skateboard shops around the nation. When it comes to comfort, this one is padded in all the right places and it features an adjustable fit through the lacing system which is designed to allow the wearer to choose the snugness of the fit to achieve maximum control and natural feeling to detect the skateboard. This is made to be a high performing Mid topped sneaker and it’s designed with the needs and preferences of skateboarders in mind.

Pricing and availability

The Frog Skateboards x Nike SB Blazer is set to be released on March 16,2019. The manufacturer’s suggested retail selling price will be just $95. If you’re interested in getting a pair for yourself, you’ll be able to find them if you’re one of the first in line. This special edition is going to be released in skateboard shops throughout the country which offer Nike licensed merchandise. We recommend being fast if you want to get one at the suggested retail price. Let’s face it, there are a lot of skateboarders out there who have been waiting with anxious anticipation for the release of this sneaker. It’s one of those special once in a lifetime events that combines two of the most iconic brands in a sneaker that features a combining of the logos along with the reputation and the quality of both companies.

Final thoughts

We’re about to experience one of the most awaited events for the 2019 season for skateboarding enthusiasts of the Frog Skateboards brand who also happen to be appreciative of the quality offered by Nike Sneakers. For the first time, the frog makes his appearance beside the Nike Swoosh in what we believe is going to be a precedent setting event. We have yet to find out how well the collaborative effort is going to go over and if supplies will be able to keep up with the demands for the new Mid modeled sneaker. We’re impressed that they’re offering them for a price tag that is under a hundred bucks. At any rate, if you want to be certain to get in on the action, it’s best to act quickly because waiting to get your pair could mean missing out on the low price and the need for resorting to one of the savvy online auction houses who buys up cases and sells them for double the price when demand exceeds the supply on retail shelves.
