Why You Should Consider the Capital One Savor Credit Card

There’s a new credit card available for applicants with excellent credit scores. The Savor Rewards Card from Capital One is one that is well worth checking out. The Capital One Savor is loaded with cardmember benefits and here are the reasons why you should consider applying for this great new card option.

Exceptional cash bonus for new cardmembers

When you apply and are approved as a new cardmember, you get a one-time cash bonus of $500 after spending $3,000 on purchases with your new card. The only requirements to get this special incentive are to spend a minimum of $3,000 within three months of the day that the account is opened. It couldn’t be easier to earn this amazing reward. This has to be the first account you’ve opened for the card though.

Earn Unlimited Rewards

For all of your dining and entertainment expenditures using the card, you will earn four percent for each purchase. You’ll also earn 2% of all grocery store purchases and one percent in rewards for all other purchases. This is an excellent way to earn cash back just for using the convenience of a card. There are no caps placed on the amount of cash back rewards that you can earn.

You get a special introductory waiver

The annual fee is waived for the first year of owning the card. This is given as a special introductory offer for new accounts. Twelve months after opening the account, you will be charged $95 per year thereafter.

It’s excellent for traveling abroad

The Capital One Savor card is an excellent choice for traveling abroad. There are no foreign transaction fees for making purchases with the card outside of the United States. Unlike some other cards, this can save you a lot of money in fees when out of the country.

Receive free concierge service

One of the perks of being a cardmember is the complimentary concierge service. This means that you qualify for personalized help in travel, entertainment and dining 24/7 all year round. It can come in handy when you stay in a new location you’re not familiar with.

Savings on Warranty fees

Just for purchasing eligible items with the card, you automatically get extra warranty protection. This is offered at no additional charge to your card.

Travel protection and price protection

Two more benefits you get are the 24-hour travel protection that guarantees if your card is stolen or lost, you can easily get a cash advance and an emergency replacement card fast. In addition, if you purchase an item and then find it offered at a lower price within 120 days, you may qualify for a reimbursement of the difference in the price.

Account Management tools

Managing your Capital One Savor account couldn’t be easier. You’ll have access to an online system that is safe and secure. You can set up text or email alerts and reminders to help keep you on track with payment due dates, notifications and much more. With this account, you’re allowed to choose the monthly due date along with your preferred payment method and you can make the payment by check, online or pay it at a local branch. There is never a fee for these services. You can also set up an Autopay for the account which makes making payments hassle-free because they’re taken out automatically each month if you stipulate this as a preference. Balance transfers are also allowed which give the option of transferring amounts from higher rate cards to your Capital One.

Add another user

You also have the option of adding somebody else to your account as an authorized user. You both will share the line of credit as well as the benefits, but two cards are issued with different names and numbers on them to keep the spending accounts straight. The information for each card on the account shows up under its own separate information space to keep track of who spends what and when.

Customer Service

You also have access to customer service 24 hours and day and 7 days a week. If you have any issues or problems, you’ll be able to call and get help whenever needed. In addition to all of these special perks and benefits, you get access to EnoSM from Capital One. Eno is the Capital One intelligent assistant that helps to make using your account easier than ever. Review recent transactions, pay your bill, check your balance and so much more with Eno.
