Five Ways to Earn $20 Today

Money

Generally speaking, when someone starts speaking about ways to make huge sums of money within a very short period of time, that is a sign that the listener should put up their guard. However, it is perfectly possible to make small sums of money within a relatively short period of time so long as interested individuals are willing to put in sufficient time and effort. Here are five simple ways to make $20 in as little as a single day:

Take Surveys

There is a wide range of parties interested in what people might think on various topics. As a result, there is a wide range of parties that will pay people to take their surveys. Generally speaking, these surveys tend to be simple and straightforward but rather time-consuming in n nature. Moreover, most surveys will pay no more than a small sum of money, though there are exceptions such as surveys that are meant for people in various medical fields. Still, interested individuals should be able to earn $20 within a short period of time, but there is a downside in that they might not be able to get a hold of that money until some time later.

Check Out a Content Mill

Content mills are websites that let various parties post writing jobs on a job board, which can be picked up by the writers who have registered accounts with them. In most cases, content mills don't have a very complicated sign-up process, meaning that interested individuals should be able to get started right away so long as there are jobs available to them. Be warned that most content mill jobs won't pay much, with most pay rates hovering between $0.01 to $0.05 per word, though people who stumble onto more selective clients looking for better writing might be able to get better pay rates for those writing jobs.

Sell Resumes

Speaking of which, interested individuals might want to consider selling resumes. After all, there are a lot of people out there who need resumes but are rather clueless about how to write a resume of their own. As a result, there is a natural source of demand for people who are willing to fill in that gap. However, interested individuals need to keep a couple of things in mind. First, they need to make sure that their clients know exactly what they will be getting in exchange for exactly what they will be paying. Otherwise, a mismatch of expectations could result in them having to do more work than what they were expecting in order to get their money. Second, interested individuals might want to consider where as well as how they are going to market their services, with potential options including Craigslist, other classified advertising services, and even handing out business cards when opportunities come up.

Sell to Secondhand Stores

Secondhand stores are one of the most convenient options for people who need to raise some money fast. Granted, interested individuals shouldn't expect to get high prices for what they are planning to sell. After all, secondhand stores need to make a profit as well, which is why interested individuals shouldn't expect to be able to get exactly what they think their possessions will be worth. However, for people who might not have the time needed to hold a garage sale or something similar, selling to secondhand stores can be exactly the solution that they need. In fact, it can be a good idea to think of selling to secondhand stores as a way of decluttering because if someone hasn't used something in more than a year's time, chances are good that they can get rid of it without being impacted by its loss. Under those circumstances, it might be beneficial for them to sell it so that someone else can enjoy it in the future rather than hang on to it where it will do no good.

Hold a Garage Sale

On a related note, there is the option of holding a garage sale. There is a lot of useful information about holding garage sales that can be found out there, meaning that interested individuals should read up to increase their chances of selling as much as possible for the best prices as possible. However, one of the most important pieces of information is looking up everything that is being sold so that interested individuals can set appropriate prices that will sell relatively fast without losing out too much in the process.
