JB Pritzker is an American politician who was elected to the office of Governor of the state of Illinois. He is the 43rd Governor of the state who brings a sound knowledge of economic affairs to the job. He is an interesting public figure who comes from one of the richest families in the nation. 1. JB’s Birthday
He was born on January 19, 1965, in Atherton, California. JB’s parents named him Jay Robert Pritzker. He comes from a prominent Jewish family and he grew up in the city of his birth. JB was named after his paternal uncles, Jay, and Bob.
2. His sister is also a politician
There were three children in the Pritzer family. JB, his brother Anthony, and his sister Penny Pritzker. His parents are Sue and Donald Pritzker. Penny is his older sister and she also became involved in politics. She served as the United States Secretary of Commerce for a term.

The Pritzkers spared no expense when it came to the education of their children. JB was enrolled at the Massachusetts boarding school attending Milton Academy, successfully completing the requirements.
