Remy Ma is a multi-talented celebrity personality in America who is known for her rapping performances but she is also a talented song writer. As of 2019 her net worth has soared to an estimated $4 million. How did she come to be a multi-millionaire? We looked into her history and her career to try to find the answers to this question and here is what we found.
Her early career
Remy Ma was initially discovered by Big Pun who became her mentor. With a little help and encouragement, she made her debut in the music industry through the singles "You Was Wrong' off of the "Yeeeah Baby" album by Big Pun and "Ms. Martin." Big Pun left this earth too soon and Ma was left without her mentor but signed with the rapper Fat Joe and became a member of the rap group formerly Big Pun's called Terror Squad. This was a time of tremendous change for the young rapper but she thrived as a member of the group and her music climbed to the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the number one spot with her single "Lean Back." After this Remy went on to release her very first album called "There's Something About Remy: Based on a True Story." The album was a successful venture and the first week that it was out, 37,000 copies were sold and within a year's time 158,000 copies of the album sold.

She's also made her fair share of appearances on reality television which has also helped to contribute to her success. She hasn't had an easy go of it and there have been struggles along the way. Brushes with the law and spending time in jail, the death of the mentor who helped her get her start in the business and other personal problems have been situations that she has managed to overcome to move forward with her career in rap which we must say is a huge success. This is just the beginning for Remy Ma and much will depend upon the choices that she makes in the future and the direction that she chooses to take her career.
