When news leaked that Safra Catz was meeting with President elect Donald Trump, rumors began to fly about wildly. There was speculation up until the time that the announcement was made that she would in fact be joining the Trump transition team. A glance at her impressive curriculum vitae reveals that she is a highly competent professional who will serve the new administration well as they make the necessary changes that will lead to the establishment of the new President taking over the reigns that govern the nation. Safra Catz attended a meeting that included Trump, the Trump children, their advisors and a host of other executives who were under consideration for key positioning within the new transition team.

Catz has been a supporter of the Trump team and has not been shy about sharing her opinions in very public and outspoken ways. She had previously made the offer of support and her service to assist in any way possible as the new administration makes the transition into Trumps new role and commander in chief. Catz is also a strong promoter for tax reform that would be beneficial fo trade and for the tech community which has helped her to gain support in these circles. This prolific professional is an interesting person and we believe that she deserves a little attention for her accomplishments. 1. Catz has the ability to multi-task at high levels of production

Safra Catz is a truly unique individual who has the energy, drive and organization to do two fairly weighty jobs at the same time. While she has accepted her appointment to the Trump transition team, she will not be leaving her position as CEO of Oracle. That's right, she plans to do both jobs simultaneously. We believe that this shows her committment to responsibilities and that she gets involved where she thinks it will do the most good.

2. Safra Catz was not born in America

The top notch business executive was actually born in Holon Israel on December 1, 1961. She is currently fifty six years of age. She has received her formal education in the United states. Her patriotism cannot be denied as she takes an active interest in the affairs of the betterment of the nation.

3. Catz is educated as a lawyer

Not many people consider the path that Safra has taken on her journey to the executive position that she currently holds. She attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School with commencement in 1986. She also earned her JD attending the prestigious Harvard Law School. Her studies in the discipline of law give her an edge on understanding the rules and processes which are associated with the governing of both large corporate environments as well as the political aspects of government of a nation. This is yet another aspect of the woman which makes her an excellent choice for the Trump transition team.

4. Safra Catz did not marry and begin her family until she was in her mid thirties

Like many business men and women, Safra was busy with her education and career and did an excellent job of climbing the corporate ladder. She did however, make time to marry her spouse Gal Tirosh in 1997 and bear two sons, Gary and Scott to complete her family. From all appearances, Safra Catz is living the American dream and it looks like she has it all.

5. Catz does not like the spotlight

Even though it is hard to imagine that the CEO of a powerful company is camera shy and prefers anonymity, it is true. Safra avoids being in the spotlight whenever possible. She is good at what she does and there is no need for her to prove it to anyone else. She stays busy with her professional commitments as well as caring for her family.

6. Catz moved to America when she was six years old

Her mother and father made the move from Israel to the United States while Safra was young. This allowed her to enter the American school system and complete her education, learning American culture and customs from a young age. She is an American business woman who got her early start in Israel but made the transition to the US at the prefect age that would allow her to remember the old country, but form ties with her new country of citizenship from the perfect period in her intellectual development.

7. Catz was a banker

After graduation from college, she held the post of managing director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. She rose quickly in the ranks. By 1994 she was the senior vice president of the bank. She held this position for just over three years before moving on.

8. Catz is responsible for the 2005 takeover of a rival company

Safra Catz quietly and behind the scenes which is her preference was the leader of the takeover by Oracle of their software rival PeopleSoft. The affair cost more than ten billion dollars. It was a huge boon for the Oracle company and Catz has earned the credit for accomplishing this feat.

9. Under the leadership of Catz, wins and losses for Oracle have occurred with a current decline

Not everything has been rosy for the top notch exec. This is just the nature of business. Even with current revenues for the company at thirty seven billion, this is a refection of a three percent down turn over the last fiscal year. This shows that we can't always be on top.

10. Safra Catz Net worth

Catz' current net worth is valuated at $525 million. This is not bad. Her salary in 2014 was just over $52 million per year. She definitely knows how to run her professional and personal finances well.
